Saved me so much money and it fixed my issue...

I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra with now 240,000 + miles on her. I had the dreaded 3 lights come on the dash and the transmission would sometimes act up and not shift correctly. The part I needed from a local auto supply store and online was pricing at around $150+ dollars which I did not have and my truck tag was due in Georgia. I thought what the hell and I bought this one. It did only take a 10mm socket but it wasn't quite as easy as the videos show for me anyway as there are a few things in the way but in all it only to me about 30 minutes to change, I cleared the code and it passed emissions, shifts perfectly now and I would recommend it for the price.

Get your Tundra out of limp mode!

My truck was showing 4lo flashing, trac off solid, and check engine solid. Code came up p0717, turbine input speed sensor. I had a transmission shop quote me $2,700 to replace this sensor. I bought two and a code scanner on here for $98 and swapped it out in about 10 minutes. It would have taken less time, but couldn’t find the sensor for a few minutes. I can’t comment as to its performance since I just put it on, but after joy riding for an hour, my truck is super happy and not throwing any codes.I drive a 2013 5.7L Tundra Rock Warrior edition. The sensor is located in a different spot from any YouTube videos I’ve watched. I’m including a couple pictures in case you have trouble finding it too. It’s located on the passenger side of the transmission. So if you slide under, right behind the front passenger tire, you’ll find it hiding up under a couple of lines. It’s still easy enough to get to. One 10mm bolt and one wire plug shouldn’t cost $2,500 in labor. The OEM part is about $200, but this is completely identical to the stock part I pulled off. I hope this helps someone save their money too!

Works great and easy to install..

The transmission started slipping in my 2013 Toyota Sequoia and the check engine light came on with an error code of P0722 (output speed sensor). This part was under $20 on amazon with next-day delivery, it only took about 5 minutes to install and it fixed the issue. I've put about 5k miles on the vehicle since installing this and it is still working great!

P0717 code Tundra? Don't worry!

My 2008 Tundra 4wd 3urfe was driving fine. I stopped for fuel and when I restarted and drove off, my VSC, traction control, 4 lo,and check engine light all came on! Not to mention all of my shifts were rough and I couldn't drive past 4 gear! When I scanned the ECU, I got the P0717 code! With a little research I found out that the turbine input sensor wasn't reporting readings that were in range to the ECU. This part is made by Asin ( rst-007-1) but, Amazon only carries this one made by Schnecke. I took a chance and so far my issues are gone! The pictures are of the failed part. It's located near the bell housing ( front ) of the transmisson passenger side. The inductive pickup coils on mine read about the same resistance value (.610k ohms) as the new one. The difference was that the old sensor was reading close to 20M ohms to the grounding ring ( mounting hole part ) where as the new one had no continuity there at all. After replacing the sensor, I had to drive less than 20 miles, stop the engine, and cycle the key off then back on, to clear the permanent code. I hope this helps !
