In Finland we have separate lights for indicator and brake lights. This is challenging when many US vehicles use same bulb for both functions. This converter fixes that with ease. Connectors arw good but electronics module cover is not very convincing. Looks pretty low quality and not likely to protect from the elements very long. Probably will still work for a decent enough time if always removed when not pulling a trailer. Hazard flashers don't work woth this, not a big deal though.

Besides some serious problems with UPS (as always when dealing with them) the trailer converter cable is the solution I needed to hook up my European trailer to my Canadian car. There is nothing to worry about, it is converting all the lights simply by connecting all ends! I then attached the box with zip ties to the hitch as it is a little heavy and I didn't want to let it drag in the dirt.I can totally recommend this converter cable, but if your order is time sensitive and you are in Canada, try to get it sooner or not with UPS (I payed for the faster shipping, but it arrived a bit later).
