Ubiquiti gear just works auto updates, just plug it in. Must of gear is reasonably priced. Cameras are a little pricey, but all their networking gear is better. Don't have to download special software. It only runs on certain machines to do updates and everything and it just automatically updates when it needs to can't beat these products.

Great for extending the wired network in the house. I am using this in my lounge to give wired ethernet to my smart devices and also to power a Unifi wall switch to extend the wifi in the house. This provides 4 POE ports. Runs somewhat warmer than I would have liked but I am overcoming that by placing this on a laptop cooler that runs off the one of the POE switches for power and this keeps it nice and cool.

This was the perfect replacement for my aging managed PoE switch. I'm running a DIY Cloud Key on an RPi 4 (very easy to build, with lots of tutorials on the web), and being able to manage and monitor my wired and wireless networks from anywhere what I've been missing. Zero setup; just adopt the switch into the UI app and you're good to go. Warm fuzzies from a security standpoint, and a single point of configuration for everything. I'm only running a few small devices, but being able to monitor PoE consumption—along with the other granularity provided by the UniFi controller—is just awesome. I don't need more than 4 powered ports, and this is built like a tank. I'm very happy with this switch.

I own a couple of these little switches and put them in separate parts of the house to add POE capability. They’re super easy to set up and use and they’ve all been very reliable.
