It should be. I had mine installed by a stereo shop and all they needed to hook up to my stock stereo was an Amp Kit.

will this fit under the rear seats of my 2017 colorado?

Not sure, they provide measurements and then I would suggest measuring your truck. Ours is in the back of an Armada in the open.

No it cannot, boats need marine speakers & the built in amp cannot take any moisture or mist water
