Nighty-Night: (A Bedtime Story About Night Time Routines for Babies and Toddlers) (Leslie Patricelli Board Books)

We got this book for our 1 year old, and he loves it! The rhyming phrases and the illustrations are cute and fun! Our son grins and giggles every time we start to read it to him. He loves turning the pages to see the next picture. We always end up reading it 2 or 3 times in the evening, so it's a good thing that we enjoy it, too! It's one of his favorite books now. It's short and sweet. The perfect bedtime book for a baby or young child!

I purchased this board book for my granddaughter who is fourteen months old. She loves Leslie Patricelli's series of books and this one represents all of her bedtime activities perfectly. From playtime before bath to bath to reading story books and singing songs and even the cuddle with the gigantic teddy bear, this book looks like a story written about both her and her brother's bedtime routine. They each get to choose a story to read and if she doesn't choose this one, her 3.5 year old brother does. The adorable toddler is back with his Mommy, Daddy, dog and kitty. If you like this series of books, this one will be a great addition.

Anyone familiar with this adorable series will not be surprised to learn Nighty-Night is a winner! This book is a quick(ish), fun and ultimately sweet read. It follows the baby's bedtime routine. Our own night routine mirrors this baby's routine pretty closely, which makes it that much more fun. An almost nightly read, and its charm still isn't wearing off.

We checked this out from the library and it became my 1 year old daughter’s favorite book, so we had to buy our own copy. Because of this book, we’ve bought the potty book by this author as well and I plan to buy a few more she’s written as well. All 3 of my girls enjoy this author. I highly recommend.

Some of Leslie's books are fun for the pictures but not great for reading at storytime, but Nighty Night is a great bedtime story with a great rhyme and flow. We've read it so many times we now recite it from memory each night at bedtime and it helps calm the little one so she can fall asleep.

The storyline makes sense and is of the right length. Bright and simple illustration with very short text on each page. The drawing of the neutral gender baby is a plus as it can be used to read to a boy or a girl plus it really attracts my baby’s attention. Deducting a star because some of the words used are not real words e.g. “brushy”, “toothy”, “tubby” (meaning has changed in this context). Not a big deal as I can replace the words with real words but would be better if the writer had come up with proper words.

I ordered this book from Memebooksforall and my 2 year old loved it. This is my 3rd order with them & I've been really satisfied with all of my purchases. Excellent read.

My 2 year old loves it, as he does the Potty book by Leslie. He goes through it by himself and fills in the words. Excellent art work!

Pictures were easy to understand even for my little baby. She often grabs this (and other books from this series) when it's reading time before bed. The pages were a little too big for her to open and flip at first, but she got used it. These are also good books to start teaching a baby simple words.

No. Los niños cenan correctamente y el libro muestra un niño con un bol y la cena por la cabeza. Además, pretendemos relajarlos y no decirles que hacemos un baile desnudos antes de ir a la cama. No lo encuentro muy didáctico salvo para mostrar lo que NO se debe hacer

All 3 of my grandchildren love this book. We read it so much I bought a new one so we can keep reading it. They all have one at home as well. It’s definitely a favourite book for sure.
