Had this in my cart when I first got my Dell 9720 but didn't purchase. Now that it's gotten hit on the side, dented and screen is cracked I regret not purchasing earlier. Get one. Fits properly, does adds a bit of thickness but it also replaces the embedded feet (which kept ungluing!), and as others have said the legs are nice to shift angles when typing on a desk.

I purchased this cover in the black colour for my Dell XPS 17” work laptop. Works as advertised and satisfied with the quality so far. The optional feet are a nice bonus feature. When raised, it definitely is more comfortable to type on the keyboard vs. before.
