Death Note, Vol. 9 Paperback – Illustrated, 7 April 2008

Exactly what I wanted! Can't find these volumes in stores anymore so I was hoping this book would come in good shape and it did. All the pages are there, little yellowed but what do you expect out of an older book. Only thing some people might not like is that it had a folded corner on the back cover but that doesn't bother me any.

Death note is one of my favourite anime and I have finally completed the set. Book came in great shape

In this volume, near figures out that there is a fake rule in the notebook.Also near makes an assumption like "light yagimi is kita" It was really fun reading it . For beginners volume 9 doesn't mean episode 9!

In this ninth volume of the excellent Death Note series, Light Yagami conceives a plan that could potentially halve his opposition at a stroke and bring his perfect world one step closer. He moves against Mello but not everything goes as planned and Light discovers that Near may be closer to the truth than is comfortable. Despite this Kira is making progress with the general public and this opens new possibilities for Light to manipulate.Death Note continues to weave plans within plans, with all three of the main characters trying to out do each other in cunning. This volume does see some good twists and some surprising losses that could shake things up slightly. Overall Death Note remains a very well written and carefully plotted series that is a cut above some others that I have read but this second half of the series does seem rather less than it could be.
