This is absolutely fantastic monitor and laptop stand. Very strong sturdy and makes the desk look very slick and elegant. Fitting is very simple and box had instructions height and distance between laptop and monitor is adjustable. Worth every penny.

Overall am extremely happy with this purchase. I am a second year student studying a law degree and am in the depths of exam season and thought this may help my revision. I brought this as it was only £30 plus a discounted price that Amazon allowed my to tick at checkout bring it to £23 and I definitely got my value for money. The laptop arm was my main concern as I didn't expect it to be stab me but I put it to the test doing an hour of studying, taking notes and watching a lecture and it worked perfectly. The ability to have both devices connected via hdmi and at the same height was a nice bonus for productivity as a student. The price was great although there were some small hiccups. 1) the plate for the laptop was slightly lose when connecting it to versa plate however this was extremely minor (as I'm a perfectionist) I fixed it however but just wedging a small bit of paper in the gap before screwing it down. Worked a treat. 2) the plate connecting the arm to the monitor versa did not fit although it was the correct size I thought it was my fault but it was by 0.1mm or so. And this to me seemed like a quality control issue however I fixed it with sand paper and elbow grease for 10 mins and now fits fine 3) the laptop “bed” came out the box bent but because it is a thin sheet kd metal i bent I back by hand, this is not difficult as long as your careful and have decent strength. Other than these small things that negate the product from being a 5 star it is great. The arms have great moveability and I like the small touch of the capable clips that also hold the Allen keys. I can from ‘limited’ experience recommend this to students, as a great way to clear up much needed desk real-estate.

I went out on a limb and purchased this screen stand to make my home office a bit more comfy. My laptop had to be in front of my second screen which was on a block to raise it and I had nowhere for a keyboard and mouse to be used, so I had to use the laptop’s. Not comfy. This mounts easily to thick desks using a ‘G’ clamp or through a hole in the desk. It fixes well and is sturdy. It’s easy to build because the instructions are very well laid out. They use a numbering system which relates to the section of the bagged screws and fittings. In other words the bag sections are labelled A to F and the instructions have leader lines from each part with that labelled letter on. I purchased a basic 27 inch screen from Amazon as a second screen - I think it was £90. As you can see from the photos (one from the front, one looking down the back) the cable routing is really effective and so simple to fit and adjust. The arms are quite long and have very good adjustment with Allen key bolts to increase tension at each joint, or just tighten it right up to fix it. The whole set up is sturdy and the screen doesn’t bounce around or wobble when someone walks in or I take out my work on the desktop surface…. The laptop mount is fitted to another screen mount with 4 bolts, so if you buy a second screen, you can swap the laptop stand for the second screen. Both screen mounts also allow for rotation from landscape to portrait! Documents become easier to read and write. I have set the tension in each joint so that I can push my work screen away, to the wall and slide my home computer into a better position. Very easy. My only issue now is I don’t have enough USB ports for keyboard, mouse and headset!

Un écran de 27 pouces et mon portable de 16 pouces sont maintenant au même niveau c’est impeccable pour travailler.

Au top ! Un peu complexe à monter, faut compter une bonne demie heure. Support génial, on peut y mettre soit le pc portable + un écran, ou deux écrans. À l’air plutôt résistant. Je l’utilise depuis environ 2 mois avec un LENOVO LOQ, et un MSI MAG241C. Il tient parfaitement le poids. Je recommande ++

It's definitely my fault for having that excitement go through the roof when this arm arrived. While I could understand most of the manual, I skipped the part where there's a pair of squared metallic parts that hold the two arms to the middle tube. I twisted those screws with all my strength, bending the pieces in the process until I noticed those two pairs of plastic pieces that go inside those metallic pieces. While I check the manual again, there's this part where they show how they go, but it's so tiny that I missed it entirely, and went my own way, even asking myself why do I need to screw these parts that tightly? It didn't feel right until well... I noticed. But after all of that, man... My desk improved a ton. I couldn't be happier. Sure, I don't have the up and down adjustment I could get on more expensive stands (though, manually, you can move the arms on the tube by using the screws to loosen and move the arms). But the fact that now I can put my monitor on vertical, tilt my laptop screen, and use my desk like if it were a standing desk is just perfection. Cable management is relatively easy, and the pack includes a ton of screws, the Allen keys, and two ways to install it (clamp or a screw under the desk if yours have a hole). So yeah, read the manual. You should also make sure to point the screws away from the monitors since if those metallic parts I bent have their screws on the front as I show in one of the pics, you could easily scratch or even damage the monitor you put on the arms (because yes, if you don't want to use a laptop and instead put a 2nd monitor, that whole laptop stand is supported by a VESA mount. But again, be careful with those screws in any case. Also, if only these manufacturers allow you to buy just the arm and not the entire thing to add, I don't know, a third arm in the future...). The thing is really tough though, and you can adjust how much you allow the parts to move by tightening every screw you need so, the possibility of a laptop or a monitor on the arm moving on their own is only if you allow it (the best part vs. the gas ones, even with all their benefits). As an entry-level stand for anyone doing home office, I recommend it. For me, it's worth it.
