“Orange ring” has been our dog’s favorite toy ever since we gave it to her as a puppy - they’re so inseparable that it has practically become a personality trait of hers. I had a hard, bouncy solid rubber ring for my first German Shepard 40 years ago. It was fantastic for running leaping and catching. Tug-o-War worked well as the ring was indestructible. My dog could drag my then 9-yeare-old son across the yard on his stomach. I could pick up my 90 pound dog and carry her around the yard while she held on with her teeth. The ring was like a carry handle. Subsequent dogs also loved the ring. When I tried to buy a new one for my granddog, I found it was not available anywhere, except Amazon. This one is made the same way as the original which is still in use 40+ years later. if you want a classic, indestructible and fun dog toy, look no further - this is it!

Although it’s very sturdy, it’s too heavy for my Frenchie. She does love to chew on it and play tuggie, though. It’s very durable and would be great for a bigger dog. The LaRoo flying ring works great for little dogs.

My German Shepard is extremely tough on toys.....or anything he puts in his mouth. He will devour a pig's ear in 90 seconds. Two or three times every day we play "fetch" with the Playful Spirit Ring, for 10 minutes at a time. In between retrieving the ring he "chomps" on the ring as he catches his breath. After about 2 months, it start to wear out, developing cracks and losing some of its "bounce," so I buy a new only, gladly, because no other toy lasts him nearly that long. Most toys are destroyed the first time he plays with them. PlayfulSpirit is great because I can throw it far, and fast, and my 85lb German Shepard can chew away at it with reckless abandon.

It looked like it would have been a fun toy if my dog hadn’t chewed through it in 2 minutes. I’m sure it would be great for a dog that doesn’t have destruction on the brain.

I bought this for my grand puppy. His is Duke and he is a German Shepherd. He likes it ok. He prefers his Kong ball though. The ring is made to withstand his bite so he will have it for quite a while.

Great product. Perfect for a tugging match and safe to throw around without worrying about damage. Whats even better is a customer service experience that is great. She got a little carried away at first and tore a few pieces off but it is still going strong. I got an email from the company asking how it was going and I told them about the damage, they were correct, sometimes dogs need to be supervised to not get carried away, but they made it right with great customer service. Definitely a company I would deal with again.

I have a Border Collie who loves rings. We were excited to show & play with him & his new rubber ring. It is well made but too heavy & hard for him. His mouth was full of blood after catching it.
