6.5" Plastic Black Speaker Adapter Compatible with Toyota - Select Models -

I bought these brackets to put after market speakers in the rear doors of my 2007 Toyota Tundra.Fitment:The brackets fit perfectly. I didn't have to drill any holes in my door or anything. The holes on these brackets line up exactly with the holes in the door . When trying to place the adapters, just make sure that you're using the proper one for the respective door. Each adapter is specifically made for left and right doors (I think the people complaining about fitment may have not figured this out, probably b/c there no instructions and the brackets are not marked accordingly.One thing to note is that the bracket does not come with holes on the upper ring where you put your speaker on top of. Another thing to note is that the bracket will not fit speakers that have a wider cone basket (the metal prongs that extend from magnets to the lips of the speaker). I was able to use sandpaper and work the inner circumference down to house my MB Quart speakers.Product Quality:Looks and feels very sturdy. I don't have any issues with it so far (I will update this review if there is a problem).Customer Service:The seller is very friendly and communicates promptly. Before purchasing, I flooded him with question but the seller promptly and thoroughly answered all of them in a prompt and courteous manner.I highly recommend these to any Tundra owners (and Sequoia/FJ Cruiser owners, since you guys use the same parts)who wanna have 6 1/2 inch speakers in the back instead of using the Scosche adapters that will only allow you to put 5.25 inch speakers in the back.I took some pictures but once I figure out how to get them up here, I will.

They fit the factory installation holes perfectly in my 2006 Toyota Corolla LE. The only thing that I needed was some large metal screws to fit the holes and these mounted right in.I went above and beyond and cot the speaker baffles "https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0039Z3SRA/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_12" to go with these but to be honest, I'm not sure (yet) if they added to the sound quality or detract. I don't yet have my amp hooked up to push the 6.5" speakers so I assume that's it. I did however upgrade my stereo unit with a 50W x 4 unit (which should drive my speakers "ok").But the mounting brackets/rings, are a total perfect fit. If you are trying to use them for the rear 6x9 slots, none of the holes match up (but I wouldn't expect them to ;) ). I just kind of hit-and-miss tried to see if one or more might be close but I ended up making a template mount instead out of hardboard even though I bought 4 of these (my bad, but maybe for a future vehicle...).The only recommendations I would make when using these is use some silicone or heavy-duty foam mounting tape to try and fill any of the gaps between the surfaces. That should make sure that your speaker mount to the bracket is a nice solid fit.Great product!

Fits exactly in Front speakers of Toyota corolla 2004 CE with Polk Audio DB651 6.5-Inch Coaxial Speakers. The only problem with the speaker adapter is there is no hole for fitting the speaker. You will find only three hole to fit the adapter in the door panel. You have to drill 4 more holes to fit the speaker (Check the photo which I have attached). I feel the price is bit high and the packaging was very bad. But I received the speaker in good shape. Shipping was fast.If you are planning to replace the OEM factory speakers from Toyota Corolla make sure that you have drill machine with suitable bit because the OEM speaker adapter is not screwed with the door panel it is attached with pop rivets. It is very difficult to remove the pop rivets without drill machine.The other workaround is you can tear the old speaker cone and remove the magnet with plier and fit the new speaker with glue. Make sure that you buy washer(might come along with some speakers) before fitting.

Worked just fine to install aftermarket 6.5" speakers in 2nd generation Prius. I used Infinity 6.5" speakers in the front and rear doors to replace the failed factory speakers. The 3 holes in these adapters did not line up perfectly with the holes in the door. I was able to "loose fit" the adapter to the door holes using the screws provided with the aftermarket speakers, then tighten them with the nuts also provided with the speakers. Note that the installation holes are not equally spaced so you may need to rotate the adapter in ~120 degree increments until the holes line up.Install the adapters on the door, then install the speakers on the adapter. I'm not sure how I would have installed the speakers without these adapters. I drilled a 3/8" hole through the side of these to run the wires into the speaker rather than pinch the wires between the adapter and door sheet metal. The 4 speaker mounting holes in the adapter aligned perfectly with the speaker mounting holes. As a side note, I put some mounting tape between the adapter and sheet metal to provide some isolation from the sheet metal. I did not have any issues with the speakers clearing the door panel.Very happy with the speed of installation and final result.

This item fit perfect into the yaris, but it may need to be modified to fit certain speakers. I have polyglass vr components and for them to fit some of the plastics needed to be shaved off, i tried also some alpine spx17pro's and they fit like a charm. So depending on what you have you might need to modify to fit speaker. Other than that the screw holes aligned perfect with the Yaris... hope this helps
