This is really good stuff. I apply it to my face after cleansing to treat acne, to my lips to moisturize them and to the ends of my hair at night to keep it smooth and shiny. Very versatile product and you get alot,this bottle will last me a year probably!

As a moisturizer, this oil is one of the best I've used as far as being super hydrating without leaving any oily residue whatsoever. It's kind of amazing, because it feels every bit as greasy as any oil I've ever used, but leaves no unwanted greasy residue at all. There are a lot of oils that I like and use - vitamin E oil, rosehip seed oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, etc. And they're all great, but this grapeseed oil is definitely best for use during the daytime if you have dry skin, because it doesn't show at all. It does have a very slight, plant-like scent, (actually, to me it smells like olive) .I don't think it would be noticeable to others, but I'm not sure. This oil doesn't have a preservative in it and that concerns me a little bit, but lots of these natural oils do not. ( this grapeseed oil is also edible, though and I think this may make it more subject to spoilage than non-edible essential oils). I'm planning to experiment with adding small amounts of natural preservatives to this oil and see whether the additive affects the oils characteristics- mainly that of being non-greasy. I plan to try a tiny bit of peppermint in one batch (this will give it a nice scent, too, if you don't care for the scent of the grapeseed) and a bit of citus in another. These prevent bacteria and molds. It will be important not to get the resulting oil mixture near my eyes, (important to use only a couple of drops, also), but that's also true of the pure grapeseed oil. (Or any other skin oil). It says to store it in a cool, dry place but they don't suggest that it be kept in a refrigerator, probably because there is moisture in refrigerators. I definitely recommend this oil and I will update my review once I've tried some natural preservatives with it.

Honestly don't know the difference between this and the grapeseed oil that I have in my kitchen that I use for cooking but I do like this for use on my body. It's a clean basic oil with lots of various uses. Absorbs well and moisturizes. You'll feel a little oil on the surface for a short period of time but then it sinks in and you're good to go without slicking up everything you touch. A nice basic choice. Love that it includes a dropper for better control of distribution.They say it's unscented but that's a little misleading. True, they did not add any scented properties but you can smell the natural green odor of the grapeseeds. It's light and doesn't linger. Definitely use this stuff up and don't let it sit around for a couple years, especially in your bathroom, because it will get rancid, just like all cooking oils will.I'm looking forward to mixing some of this with things like lavender, mint, lemon and oranges for a different experience.

I've never used grapeseed oil before so I am certainly no expert. I make hand made soaps and like to try different oils in them. Since this is only a 4 ounce bottle, I used it as a superfat which means I add the grapeseed oil after my soap batter has completely turned into soap and all NaOH is gone. It made my soap feel very moisturizing and I will probably be buying it in bulk after this. It also feels good on my skin and I have used it on my face which is always dry and in need of moisturizing.

This is a good bottle of grapeseed oil. It comes well packaged and has a nice dropper design, so it's very easy to use. We purchased it mostly because it was all-natural and organic, so it doesn't have other ingredients in it. It's also a good-sized bottle for the price. It does leave your skin feeling smooth, but it has a strong odor you need to get past at first.
