Thomas Earnshaw watches receive mixed opinions from a lot of official reviewers. However, I own a lot of watches and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of this watch. The watch keeps good time and looks great in person. It is large in size. If your wrist is less than 7" it might be a no go. It is a functioning double barrel escapement, meaning it has two escapement mechanisms. I could not find another one at this price, they were all 100 dollars more and up, and did not look as good a quality on the ones close in price. The band is very comfortable and is higher quality than I expected (makes me think of the band on my Raymond Weil Maestro). The only con was the time sub dial was slightly lifted on the right side. I opened it up and used some jewelry glue to fix it. That being said, if you want a double barrel escapement and like the style of the watch, it is a great buy for the money.

The wrong color/version was sent twice. The third one was the correct model but didn't work.

My husband loves this watch. He’s a collector and 5 of his go to brown band watches were stolen. I bought this to replace one of his faves. He wears it all the time now.

He wanted it because it looked like it had samurai swords on it...

The hands do not lock into place. Because it shipped from the UK I have to pay for shipping to send it back. Not worth the hassle.

I’ll be brutally honest. The watch, looks absolutely gorgeous. Had the watch for around a month, and then one day noticed one of the screws from the flywheel on the right side has two of them. One came out and logged itself in the flywheel causing it to stop.I took it into a watch shop and they said they would not touch this watch so I took it down to another richer end watch shop, and they still wouldn’t touch it either, so sadly, as beautiful and eye catching this watch is, this was the second watch I had that had this issue. If your interested in buying, really wait for a significant price drop. I mean significant. I bought mine originally for 475, now it’s 200, wait even more till around 120, that way you can buy a watch kit for yourself and mainly do some work to remove the screw and tighten it, and then ensure you have a killer watch at a great price,Minus any future loose screws.
