CAT CT2210 Bright Rugged Tactical Pocket Pen Light, Gun Metal, Great for mechanics, nurses, doctors, HVAC, Plumbers, Electricians and outdoors.

I think I payed less than $15 for this. For that price it’s an amazing light. It’s nice and bright with a decent beam. It fits in my pocket very well and the clip breaks in nicely. Overall I’ve very happy with this. I went cheap for my first pen light because I wasn’t sure if I’d want to carry one around every day. Now that I do, I may want to spend a bit more on a nicer one but if not, I’d have no problem buying this again.

Bright enough for anything you need to look at

The look and feel of this pen light is great. It's got a very solid metallic build and the click mechanisms is durable and feels great, requiring a firm click to activate.However, there are a couple things missing that could have taken this from good to very good.1. The light can't focus/adjust widthThis was disappointing as the light beam is fairly narrow. Yes, it's good for up close illumination, but it could be so much better if you could focus the light.2. 100 Lumens just isn't enoughWe have a Coast HP1 Focusing 190 Lumen Flash Light. It's got 190 lumens and the difference in light power is very noticeable. The Coast is not as tall and is a little bulkier, but it delivers quite the punch. If they would have made the CAT 190 lumens, there would have been more to like.There is something to say for up-close illumination however. If you're using this to read documents out in the field when it's getting dark, too powerful can be too much.So, if you're using it for up-close work, the CAT pen light will do the job just fine. If you're trying to illuminate a path through the woods, you'll want something more powerful.

Got a couple more of this lights after I received the first one. Feels good and appears to be made of good quality. Easy to use and turn on / off, which sometimes is an issue with some flashlights.

Battery terminals came very corroded. light won’t stay on for more then one second. Very poor quality. I’ll never order a flash light off amazon again because of this.

The size of the light is great, nice weight and heavy duty. It illuminates well, a reasonable range for a penlight. The power button on the end is a bit stiff which makes it a little difficult to turn on and off though.
