Fabulous Sticky Bandages
Better than the name brand? What a surprise. I got these small round bandages with the purpose to put them on my tragus over my double tragus piercings on my ear. I tried a few different types of bandages in the past including the small squares from your typical bandaid brand and the waterproof squares from the same brand. The regular plastic ones peeled up in less than 5 hours and I wasted countless bandaids trying to make the thin unsticky waterproof ones work. To note, because this is a small part of my ear, I do have to cut the bandages. I cut 2 parallel sides making them look like one tiny rectangle bandage or they don’t fit otherwise. Now, I’m pleasantly surprised. After cleaning my piercings with sea salt water and applying healing oil, I cut the bandage and put one sticky side in front of my tragus, fit the square gauze on my piercing and fold the other sticky side into my ear. I get an all day stick - so about a 10hr day. I also use these at night before bed and they even lasts overnight without falling off onto my pillow. I haven’t had any sticky residue or adhesive irritation. I also put my piercing healing oil onto the square gauze and still no adhesion issues. I also can really appreciate that a pack of 100 bandages comes in a Smaller box than a pack of 50 name brand bandaids. Makes it easier to travel with and doesn’t waste material

Tiny and strong
These little guys stick wonderfully! I recently had to start self-injections and these bandages are perfect for covering a tiny hole! They even stay in place during a shower. This was a very pleasant surprise. They also work great for blisters.

Pads off center, plastic covering adhesive hard to remove, bandage leaves glue on your skin
I bought these at the same time I bought Curad Sensitive Skin Bandages, which are just slightly larger. The things I liked about these are that they stick very well, which makes them a bit tough to remove, but if they stick well, they will be tougher to remove. I am a Caucasian so their pinkish tanish color blends well with MY skin. For those with a different skin color, They will stand out. The tiny square pad on them is off center on virtually every one. That was my only reason for not giving them 5 stars across the board. The pad itself has a non-stick surface which is great for leaving a scab intact when removing the bandage. I, however, was using these to remove moles using Apple Cider Vinegar so when I would put a drop of vinegar on the pad, instead of saturating it, it would just sit there on top of it in a little bead. So for my purposes, the Curad Sensitive Skin Bandages were a better choice because they did not have a non-stick pad, which is interesting because Curad was the company that introduced the non-stick bandage back in the sixties.. They are individually wrapped whereas the Curads, while also individually wrapped, come out of the box in pairs, and you just pull them apart. Both have little flaps to peel the paper wrapper off. I have some band-Aid Tru-Stay Clear Spots and they do not have the little flaps on the paper wrapper so you have to tear the paper in half, being careful not to damage the bandage inside. Once you remove the bandage from the paper wrapper, you have to remove the two half round pieces of plastic that protect the adhesive and the Curads have a folded over flap on each one to grab and pull off, but on the DealMeds, they have only one with a flap, so to remove the other, you have to hold onto the sticky half you just exposed and slide a fingernail along the pad (contaminating it) and under the plastic, grab it, then try to peel it off. More times than not, it tears in half, so now you are trying to find a way to grab hold of a tiny piece of paper stuck to the sticky surface. I have had some tear again when I grabbed the piece that remained, leaving a piece that was too small to grab hold of, but big enough to block the adhesion of the bandage at that point, so when that happens, i toss the bandage into the trash and start over. With both the DealMeds and the Curads, when you pull them off, they leave adhesive on your skin. Because I was removing moles, I could scrub the area with alcohol or witch hazel and get it off, some because of the alcohol of witch hazel dissolving the adhesive, but more so from the friction causing it to roll off. With a healing wound, all that scrubbing would not be an option. But leaving the adhesive on until the wound heals would probably be fine. The Band-Aid Tru-Stay Clear Spots came off without doing that. So, in summary, these aren't bad, but I took one star off for the pads being off center and another star off because of the difficulty in getting the second piece of plastic off the bandage. I did not take a star off because it leaves the glue on your skin because I am not convinced that is problem. If we had half stars, I might take a half star off.

Recommend
They aren't sheer, they're a very light beige, but regardless, these are good bandages that stay on and don't irritate my sensitive skin.
