How to clean the pot?

It's best to clean it with a soft cloth and dry afterwards, hand wash only. For the inside of the coffee pot you may use warm water with mild soap or dish detergent. Never place your coffee pot in a dishwasher.

The bottom is soldered why are there metal slag drips in mine?
