COVIDIEN 2556 Curity Gauze Sponge, Non-Sterile, 4 x 4, 8-Ply (Pack of 200)

Quality item but pricy.

This Gauze is good for what I need it for. I was using the 12 ply until they recently quit making or selling it. This seems to be a good option to replace the thicker Gauze. I was skeptical because I didn't want to have to use a stack of 10 for one bandage. These only needed 1 to 2 more per stack compared the the other stuff I had. It ended up working out perfectly.

I use these all the time and the price and quality are good for me.

The best thing is that they were made in America. The however is that the pads are not tightly woven nor do they appear to be precisely made. I bought them because they were 100% pure cotton and were made in the US. For my purpose in purchasing, they are ok. I am making them into humidity wicks for my incubators and I needed 100% pure cotton. If I were purchasing for medical purposes, I might think about buying them again as they do not seem to be as high a quality product as I would expect from a US manufacturer of medical supplies.

Bought for wound care. It was a bigger weave than I wanted, but that was my fault. I should have read the description better. Great product overall.

Finding good cotton guaze isn't easy. This is it. I use it for wound care in both cleaning and padding in my wrap. Does the job well.

I use this for wound care daily and it definitely absorbs quite a bit while keeping the wound drier than most other gauze. It isn't the softest but it is the easiest to manipulate in hard to reach places and tape down.

My mom came home from the hospital and they gave us some gauze, but I was running low Thanks for having this. There was no where I knew of locally where I could get this. It's exactly the same ones the hospital gave us.
