Terrible craftsmanship
This fireplace screen has the potential to be beautiful, however the craftsmanship is done extremely poorly. The tree and deer design was slapped on with some glue and they didn't even bother cleaning it up. One of the deer has holes in the sheet of metal! It is also missing a bolt which is required to hold the leg on, not to mention the screws for the bolts are crooked, which means crooked legs! I will be returning this item. Save your time and money and but something else.

Poor quality
This is not a good fireplace screen if you plan on burning wood in your fireplace... if you plan on using the screen as decoration, then this might work for you. Here are the flaws that I found in my unit:- I cannot fully attach one of the leg stands to my unit because the hole in the stand doesn't match up with the screw coming out of the main body. To make matters worse, the screw was damaged at the factory or in shipping and the nut won't even thread on.- Door on my unit does not open/close very well; unit is not bent, just doesn't seem to fit together correctly. There is a locking mechanism that does not work at all (deadbolt style system) because the bolt doesn't line up with the hole it's supposed to go into.- Large tree on left side is made from two pieces of metal (joint clearly visible)

Arrived damaged
This was a gift for my sister. It is quite beautiful but arrived with some damages or maybe just made not accurately. The right leg is not welded on straight but is a bit turned to the right. It stills stands okay. The right door closes but the left does not and swings open. My sister has a wire on it to keep it closed. The grate has two areas that are concerning-one is pushed out very far and the other has a hole in it. She is keeping it as she has made it hers before I saw it. I am wondering if the company can refund a bit?

Okay - not Great
It's an okay screen - not a great screen. Doors don't quite line up evenly; hasp at the bottom to hold the doors closed is dinky and difficult to use even when the fire is not going and screen is not hot.Biggest gripe is the legs protrude off the back side about a half inch, so the screen cannot sit flush against the bricks. Also, there are no handles to move the screen.Cheap price - so-so product. You get what you pay for.

Legs holes don’t match.
Had a hard time with the legs as they don’t much the holes on the door. Had to make new holes on one leg but it looks ugly.
