Started to be rusty after 1 week
I was amazed at the beginning about the sharpness and everything basically. But very cheap material at the handle that started to be rusty after only 1 week. Disappointing

Great price for the best knife I have ever had as a chef

Great knife. Sharp straight out of the box. I may be a Japanese knife convert. I've used German knives, exclusively, in my career as a chef (been a Henckles fan for 20 years) but recently wanted to get a few Japanese knives and compare them. I am not disappointed in this knife at all. Not super expensive, looks good, handles well, lightweight, handle feels good in my hand, holds an edge well. I made every one of my cooks try it out on day one and I'm pretty sure a couple of them will be buying one for themselves.

I purchased the knife in May 2024 and it broke in half today, the steel is what failed. I was using the knife to remove the pit from an avocado when the handle broke off. They replaced the knife right away. Thank you
