I've never bought Otto's so I can't compare to that. I've always bought Anthony's cassava flour though to make AIP tortillas and thought they were very good. I have to say this is totally better taste-wise though. Was put off a little at first to see fiber strands in this flour, but they can easily be sifted out...or not if that doesn't bother you. The flavor is totally worth it either way. For savory AND sweet recipes. I've tried to use Anthony's on more than one occasion for desserts or baked treats and it didn't turn out well at all. I've made cookies and a pie crust with this JEB Foods flour and they were both awesome. I'll be getting this brand now.

This product totally failed when making flour tortillas. It went from too sticky, added more flour, to too dry, it was a mess and I will never buy it again. I will use the Cassava Flour made by Otto's.....it is a better performer.

I really like the lower price but the baking results were not at all the same as with Otto's brand. The cookies all ran together, it wouldn't hold together and required even more flour. I was very disappointed.

Jeb's cassava flour is organic, non GMO and very fresh. Nice size bag is thick (not like the thin cellophane ones) and resealable.

This is such an excellent gluten free flour, versatile and since it is from a root vegetable it is perfect for the AIP diet (anti-inflammatory Paleo). After deciding to avoid night shade veggies, finding a really nice textured GF flour, free of potato starches and corn, I was pleasantly surprised by this option. It is delicious whether it is used in fried chicken, baked cod, baked goods or thickening sauces! Highly recommend this flour for anyone challenged by food allergies, autoimmune disorders, or intolerance to gluten.

I bought 3 packets......the first packet was good BUT the other two packets had some gritty very fine sandy like texture, felt like when one eats food with fine sand texture!! Will never buy this AGAIN!!!

When I opened the package I could not believe the pungent smell of this stuff! I googled to see if it was normal and apparently Cassava flour can have a "fermented" odor....BUT this was REALLY strong. So much so that I thought it was past its sell by date, but it wasn't, and after the results I found on google about the smell, I decided it must be ok. It was fine. No one got sick :0)....However, I decided to buy the Otto's brand when I ran out of this because it just happened to be in my local Whole Foods store and I needed some more. Let me tell you, the difference is literally night and day. It is SO much easier to work with (more dryer, like real flour - JEB Foods is really delicate and fine and takes loads more to make the recipes work properly) and every recipe you find on the internet which uses Cassava flour turns out a ton better with Otto's. Just my opinion, but if you do run out of this one, give Otto's a try because literally you don't know what cassava flour should be like until you've used it.....On a side note, I so wanted to love this because it's organic and Otto's is not. However it is still GMO free so I'm good with that. Sorry JEB Foods, just telling' it like it is :0(
