Seems like a good quality shim. I see what one of the other reviewers means that they thought it was plastic because it is so lightweight but they are wrong. Definitely metal, when you flick it with your fingernail you get a really positive metallic clank that would be impossible to reproduce with plastic. Excellent price too.

Quality of the internal machining wasn’t accurate, had a couple of ribs when rubbing finger inside the tube. The outer finish was perfect. This meant when I fitted the suspension seat post it went in fine for a couple of inches then went stiff. Had to use emery cloth and polish out the inside to remove ribs. This took me over 45 minutes as I had to keep removing and trying… what should of been a 10 min job ended up over an hour. I did finally get the seat post to slide in all the way, but wasn’t expecting to have to do the work…
