Big improvement over the GM type 6 fluid
Used this in my Duramax w/ Allison 6 sp. Did the "double change", and it drives like new!Very smooth shifts....much better than with the old fluid.Also, you get smooth shifting hot or cold, and the fluid seems to run cooler - around 20 degrees cooler.Great stuff. And, by Allison's own calculator (look it up online), you can run 150k between changes by running this stuff.Might be more $$, but easily pays for itself right there - in the longer drain interval.

Helps transmission life by running clean and cool.
I use this for the ATF in my boat’s ZF 630 transmission. Yes it’s pricey compared to Dexron III, but it runs smoother (particularly with the trolling valve) and cooler. I change it every 12 months and its always clean and never smells burnt. Perfect for high load transmissions that use ATF. BEFORE USING MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THAT ITS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR TRANSMISSION.

saved money and now using the fluid that allison wants in their transmissions
I bought a 2001 gmc druamax with 92,000 miles on it I wanted to change all fluids filters and do general maintenance. After looking around online I found allison wants a transmission fluid rated tes-295 nobody locally carried it and the local Allison dealer only worked on "medium duty or bigger trucks" and would not sell fluid to me I found this on amazon for a good price bought it replaced fluid and the truck shifts smother and quicker than before. I will use this until my truck falls apart.

The Best Fluid for your Allison
I ended up going with this fluid over the more expensive Transynd and I couldn't be happier. My truck was having some hard shifts at 80k miles and figured it was time to change the fluid. The shifts are butter smooth and dropped about 25 degrees during heavy load conditions. I will absolutely use this fluid for the next service!

Great Price and Quick Delivery!
I've recently became a DIY person. I was already having good results with Mobile 1 Turbo Diesel engine oil, so when I found out that Mobil also had a preferred product for my allison, I made the switch. Since no one locally stocks this, I can get it delivered to my door sooner than waiting for the local parts store to order it in and then have to drive up to pick it up.

Allison 1000 Transmission
Been running it in my 2004.5 Silverado 3500 dually with Allison 1000 Transmission for a while now, certainly no problems, seems to work great, stays impressively clean looking even after hard working it.
