I had the earlier version of this same tent for many years - it worked but the main pole got bent by the winds and then the canvas stretched so much it became not very usable after about 5 years. I finally broke down to buy a new which I kept putting off as I read that it got updated and works differently than the old one. Now the poles that hold the tent don't telescope out but fold, which makes it impossible to set up in high winds for one person as one can't fill at least partially the sacks with sand before opening the tent and, therefore, one can't hold the middle pole to keep the tent upright before the sacks get filled with send because one can't reach that far. Maybe with time I'll figure out a way but at this point, I don't know yet how. The tent seems sturdier so it might not get bent that easy by the winds (I live it Hawaii where 20-30 miles/hour winds are the typical trades with gusts 30+), but it is also about twice as heavy than the original version which makes it harder to lug it around. But it gives nice shade and it is tall enough for a not-that-tall person (5'7") to stand underneath! Over all I like it but I wish they kept the telescoping arms or figured out a better way to open so one person can set it up in windy conditions!

We set this up in our backyard in preparation of our first use on the beach. Super easy and fast! We are going to pick up some stakes at Home Depot and we have a sand shovel to take with us that will probably fit in the bag.

this is very easy to set up and put away and we have had no trouble with it. it is a little heavy to carry but is good

Easy to put up easy to take down. I wish I knew about this a long time ago. Must buy!
