This is what you need! Fast , Reliable, Quality
I purchased this unit for a new home setup involving multiple MacBooks (4), over a dozen mobile phones, a few tablets, a Surface Pro, and a few other hubs and docks I am testing out. This Powered USB Hub Rosonway 16 Ports 100W USB 3.0 Data Hub Aluminum USB Hub 3.0 Splitter with 12V/8.3A UL Certified Power Adapter and Individual On/Off Switches RSH-A16 (Black) is the first hub I've been impressed by since a 2.0 Anker Hub in 2015. It was to be my phone Hub for my setup; however, in my confusion, I got it mixed up with another unit Rosonway builds and had to exchange. That being said, I still wanted to try it out to see if it was worth sticking with the brand for future upgrades. The unit itself is a high-quality all-aluminum body, housing what appear to be LED lights running down one side that indicate whether the ports are engaged. The lights, conveniently next to their corresponding USB port, easily blend behind a mirrored finish during the day and are surprisingly neither too bright nor too distracting at night. The other side has buttons for each port that are easy to switch off, with a very smooth press and release. I personally would prefer a button that requires more deliberate force, because I found myself toggling the buttons accidentally. But that's just me.Also in the box with the hub were the power supply and a 4ft long USB 3.0 detachable cable - both quality built. Installation was easy. It was a simple plug and play operation straight out of the box, with no cause for confusion. In my setup, there were never less than 8 iOS devices connected at all times. While connected, these devices all maintained 100% charge even when removing and installing apps, data, and OSs. Speeds were in-line with what was stated; the only thing I regret was the fact that they were not high enough for my current build at 5Gbps speeds. The 3.1 10Gbps is actually the unit I need, so I'm looking forward to testing that one once it arrives.Overall, this Hub is very well built. It delivers on what it promises, and would've fit all of my needs had it been 10Gbsp instead of 5Gbps. I look forward to trying many more devices from the Rosonway family.Deleted User. io

Finally, a place to park ALL your chargeables
If like me you’ve accumulated a slew of USB-chargeable devices, some of them like my bicycle lights needing electricity only, while others require both power and communication with my computer, like my remote backup drive, you’ve probably gotten to the point where you’ve got three or four or more charging hubs, some in different rooms, with the attendant messiness and uncertainty about what is being charged where.A few weeks ago, with the purchase of three new sets of Bluetooth earbuds, I used the occasion to tackle the problem head-on. Not being a techie, I did some limited research and found out that USB 3.0 compatibility is important, and that for my Windows 10 laptop, which I plan to keep at Win 10 and not upgrade to Win 11, this16-port Ronsonway data hub should more than fill the bill. And it does. I’ve managed to consolidate all my chargeables and keep nearly all the Ronsonway‘s 16 ports active simultaneously without any noticeable loss of charging power. While not able to match my Anker fast charger’s speeds required for my power-hungry iPhone and iPad, the Ronsonway effortlessly keeps all my smaller components topped up. I’ve come to appreciate its space-efficient narrow form factor and sleek, high-quality construction. I’m not sure what the point is for each port to have its own light and on/off switch, but it sure looks pretty. If you’re considering taking the plunge and are a Windows 11 user, there may be a technically more advanced hub out there that is more effective. I would recommend confirming that before committing. But if yours is a Windows 10 platform, I can attest that this Ronsonway runs beautifully on mine.

Stopped Working But Replacement Works Well
This usb hub looks great, very solid construction. The lights and on/off buttons look excellent as well. However, none of this matters because the ports (power and data) stopped working about 8 month after purchase, even though nothing changed and it is a 72 Watt hub. I use this hub for work and it caused me and my IT department a bunch of trouble as I have a plethora of peripherals. I have noticed that this and other powered usb hubs have the same reviews about stopping working after a while, so I am unaware of a solution at this time.Update 12/30/2022: I contacted customer support at RSHTECH, the company who manufactures this product, on their website (rshtech dot com), and they sent a warranty replacement very quickly. Their customer support was excellent. I increased this rating from 1-star to 4-stars for their exceptional support. Thank you.Update 05/06/2024: This USB Hub is still working properly, so I am increasing my rating from 4-stars to 5-stars.
