Q: Does the keyboard show when the number lock is on or when its off?

YES. When you press the Num lock key a light appears on the keyboard. When you press it again the light goes off.

Q: is this wireless keyboard compatible with FireTV?

My FireTV doesn't have a USB port for the receiver and there is no Bluetooth on the wireless keyboard. It will not work.

Q: I just got my keyboard and wondering if there is any way to turn off FN lock so I don't have to press the function key to use the shortcuts?

If I'm understanding the question correctly, above the numbers lock button is an on/off slide switch turn that off.

Q: Is this keyboard backlit?

No it is not.. and the letter rubbed off after a week. I also did not like the delay, I’m not the fastest typist but it was noticeable enough to get on your nerves
