Clicks, under extrudes and makes a crap ton of noise. I have been from one end of the adjustment to the other in half turns, with the exact same results. out of the box as I was loading my filament small metal shavings started to appear on my build plate.I see people on youtube taking these apart and "servicing" them. I am not going to take this piece of junk apart and try and fix what should have been done before it slipped out the back door past the QC individual.I am returning it for another identical item, however my hopes of getting a quality hotend are very low. Right out of the box this POS should have been performing well. I got a feeling these are all crap. Pisses me off because I spent a lot of time designing a mount, part cooler and a BL mount. So, I hope the next one will be better and last longer than a couple of hours.UPDATEOkay, I took this thing apart. The non driven gear for the extruder (the one attached to the tensioner and filament release) is held in place with a pin. On my extruder, that pin had not been fully seated causing the gear to not properly mesh with the drive gear. After seating the pin I haven’t had a single issue. In fact this thing is pretty darn good!If the engineers ever read these reviews, maybe they ought to take a look at their design and maybe redesign it. Thread the end of the pin perhaps???Anyway updating to five stars.

This is an excellent extruder big tree tech or biqu has done it again Right out of the box it prints awesome comes with an all-metal highbend it's fairly quiet but you are going to need some kind of skill to install it it's not just plug and play it does have some issues though when you set retraction settings if it's too much you can hear the gears slapping back and forth The lash in there is a lot I ended up having to use PTFE dryer lubricant and that helped a little bit the quiet down installing it is okay You're going to need to print an adapter if you're putting it on the ender series printers like I did running the wires are okay you will have to change the wiring for the hot and and where it hooks into the main board if you're using an SKR or big tree tech board other than that this is a way better extruder than the creality pixie and at almost half the price One word of note biqu has terrible customer service if you have a question about something don't expect them to answer you back anytime soon or if at all

Do not waste your money I repeat do not waste your money majority of big tree tech products are garbage I don't want to buy something brand new and have to fight it for it to work I am done bought this hot in less than a week ago and I can't take the nozzle off they must have put this b**** on with an impact wrench

All and all, I love this extruder. Mind the directions and triple check the connections/wiring/stepper motor wiring<foot-stomp>. Stepper motor adjustments, given in the instructions, should be taken as a recommendation only. You'll need to calibrate the steps to 'your machine' and there are plenty of tools that show you how to do this on youtube/redit. Highly recommend you read-up/watch videos and familiarize yourself with the ins/outs of this unit.**NOTE: I made it a point to field strip this unit all the way down to the stepper motor. I did this so I can properly maintain and lubricate (WD40) from time to time for optimal extruder performance. Again youtube and reddit are your friends on how to do this. All the best.

WAS EASY TO SETUP AND CONFIGURATION FAIRLY EASY. LOUD AND JAMS ALOT. SHOULD PRINT OUT OF THE BOX. BOUGHT 2 AND NEITHER ONE WORKED OUT OF THE BOX. BOUGHT ORIGINAL EXTRUDER/HOTEND FOR MY PRINTER AND IT WORKS FINE.

This thing is tiny ! works great, tons of fan and mount options out there.

Needs time and some work to install depending upon which printer you have.

you have to modify some things for it to fit. Hopefully I will get it done in the next few days
