It works! Less stinky than other tanners 👍🏼
I used to use this product a decade ago or more, so I decided to try it again. I’m on a budget and need a white girlie tan! 😆 This in-shower lotion was under $10! I’ve always liked the tan I get from Jergen’s gradual self-tanners, both the lotion and this product. I feel like this one is a little quicker to develop compared to the regular lotion. I attached a pic of my leg 3 days apart. I applied “medium to deep” after my bath 2 nights in a row. I noticed a subtle glow the first time, and now I think I’ve achieved the light tan I was going for! I don’t want to look too dark or fake, so now I’ll just maintain it by applying it every 2-3 days. It doesn’t stink nearly as much as others do. It’s a little perfumey, but I like it. I haven’t gotten too many streaks or patches. No color on my clothing or sheets. When I wake up, I smell a faint fake tanner smell, but it washes away. If I can’t shower right away (like when I have to take my son to his bus stop), I just wipe off with wipes and use a smelly lotion…. It works! My tips: Apply it to freshly wet skin, but start with a quarter-size amount. I do my upper body first, use the leftover on my hands to apply to my face, then do my lower half. I avoid going between toes and fingers. On the second night, I also avoided my knees, ankles, and elbows. If you have dry skin, apply a small amount of regular lotion to those areas first (even on damp skin). Scrub any areas that look too saturated to achieve an even tan. Slightly orange in pics, but in person it has a healthy glow and looks richer! Makes me feel more confident in shorts and at the gym. ☀️

Works and is natural looking
Works great and easy to apply. I use every Spring to start my base tan for the summer. It’s gradual and looks natural and non streaky. No orange fake tan look.

Works Great! Be Sure to Use Towel Afterwards!
Product itself (Fair to Medium) works great. Super easy to use right after you turn the water off in the shower/bath. Definitely provides color and feels soft; however, BE SURE to use a towel to dry off or you WILL see streak lines from water dripping off your skin...and it's not always easy to blend even when putting additional lotion on to try and hide the streaks.

Best in shower lotion
I discovered this a while back and now I can’t go without it! The hydration is amazing and the color it adds is def noticeable. The smell could be a little better but I don’t mind it! Perfect if you self tan too to keep the tan fresh

Easy and convenient to use
The easiest I've ever used. It can streak if applied too thickly, get dressed too soon, or if you towel off after applying. Only drawback is having to stand around waiting for it to dry. But, I suspected as much. You do need to reapply often. Every shower. Doesn't have that awful smell or orange coloration.

Aggressively Patchy
I honestly have no idea how this should be properly used, because per the instructions ain’t it. I’m Casper levels of pale and use the non-wet glow version yearly, so I’m used to using a similar product for a gradual tan that makes me look pleasingly less like a cadaver. I decided to give this version a go three days ago and it has been a hilarious series of WTFs ever since. I did my shower thing including gentle exfoliation and, per the instructions and common sense, applied evenly to my damp skin. I let it soak in completely while I got ready for a wedding. Thank GOD I was wearing a midi with long sleeves, because, within an hour, I was Gob from Arrested Development: “I’ve made a huge mistake.” Pros It certainly does add color to your skin—probably 3 shades after first application Not too orangey Moisturizing Mehs Ok maybe a little orangey Cons No matter how you apply (and I’m a massage therapist for gods sake, it’s the one thing I am sure I can do), you will look like a Jackson Polluck painting and/or like you peed yourself and the pee tracks removed the color, but all over Will I be returning it? No, because I have convinced myself I can fix this and have had some success strategically applying to completely dry skin and standing like a statue until it dries. I’m way darker than I was aiming for after two applications but I’m hoping I’ll cover the most inconsistent spots before my naturally tan SIL can give me the “oh honey” face when we get together in Mexico in three days. Stick to the normal formula; it’s tested, tried, and true.

My go to self tanner
My go to self tanner. Subtle tan that never streaks because of how easy it is to apply after you shower before you towel dry. No mess either never wipes off on clothes or towels

I tried both options
I have been using sunless tanning lotions for years now and I was curious about this one since it was for wet skin. This was appealing to me since it seemed way more convenient than rinsing it off after a few hours like most of the tinted ones I love so much. Most of the transparent lotions I use, however, get splotchy, so I wanted to put this one to the test. I started with the Light to Medium lotion. I used it after a shower and exfoliating with a sugar scrub, I shook off excess water and then applied the lotion. I gently patted dry with a towel and immediately got dressed. I didn't see any color transfer on my clothing or my towel after having it on all day/night. The first day was a little disappointing. No noticeable color change. I decided to try it again the next day and I slowly was seeing a tan as the day progressed. I repeated the same steps for 5 days and the color in my photo is what my final result was! I was pleased that there was minimal streaking and splotches. Day 6 and 7 I used the Medium to Tan lotion. Here is where I ran into some issues. Maybe I put the lotion on too many days in a row so there was build up of lotion, but it seemed to flake off of my skin when I skipped the tanning lotion and just did a normal daily moisturizer on day 8. I also noticed streaking and splotches. Specifically on my legs. My arms and torso still looked pretty good and evenly tan. I decided to exfoliate and start over on day 10 with the Light to Medium again. Overall, I would say if you have a very fair skin tone, try the Light to Medium first. I am "classic ivory" skin tone and the lighter lotion took longer to develop, but was even and looked nicer. Another helpful tip is that I did not apply the lotion to my wet face. I got out of the shower, got dressed, then used the lotion on my dry face. WASH YOUR HANDS after applying to wet or dry skin. I may give the Medium to Tan another try, but shower a couple times without the tanning lotion before I do to see if that helps with splotching and flaking off. Pros: - Easy to use - Fast application - Doesn't get on clothing - Smells nice even after wearing for hours it doesn't have a terrible sunless tanning smell, just a light, tolerable smell develops - I don't mind having it on throughout my day - More convenient than tinted or non-wet skin tanning lotions Cons: - The Medium to Tan flaked off of my skin - I felt kind of itchy after being in the sun (wear sunscreen to prevent this) - Medium to Tan was splotchy on my skin tone
