Stuck to the dialysis port dressing. Tried these as my usual ones are very expensive but you only get what you pay for. Would not recommend

You do have to Shave area. it works well. Only adhesive on the outside. important to clean outside area with alcohol to remove body oils before attaching.

Me parecen prácticos , pero necesitan poner más pegamento en las orillas del parche , pues al bañarse con el agua se despega de algunas partes

excellent for showering w the ZIO PATCH. i put a lot of water on the plastic and all stayed dry!!! i had wished it was closer to 4.5 c 6.5 but it did the trick. they should give these to you at the doctors office or w the device. make sure you buy more than 7 in case you stick it wrong. just be careful because one out of 7 days, i accidentally put the sticker part of the plastic on my device and it began to rip off the device as i pulled it. luckily, i was able to re-stick the device and no problems occurred. i called zio and they confirmed it was still working great. downside- 9x9 was way too large and i hated putting it across my breast. so for women wearing zio, i would suggest 7x7 instead.

Following discharge the patient (me) was fitted with a 14 day cardiac monitor which adhered to the chest over the heart. Instructions allowed the patient to shower without having water directed onto the unit. These protectors consist of a 9x9 sheet of waterproof very thin plastic material. There is a border of adhesive about 1/2 inch wide around the outer edge of the sheet. The adhesive is very sticky creating a seal against the skin. I always prepped my skin by cleaning the skin of oils, perspiration, etc. There is a tear strip to expose the adhesive along one edge. This was then adhered to the upper area above the monitor across the neck and shoulder. I then peeled the protective sheet off the remainder of the sheet and attached the lower edge below the monitor, but above the tender skin area (nipple). The attached the outer edges working down from the top. After sticking the edges below the monitor the edges were pinched together to close the shield on each side of the monitor. These formed a great seal, with no leakage under the seal. After the second time using these, and successfully keeping the area dry I relaxed and allowed more water to run across the protector. NO problem. After showering the head and neck were patted dry including right over the Shower Protector. The upper edge of the plastic protector sheet was peeled off, grasped between thumb and forefinger and then peed completely off. I found that a relative quick tear-off was easier owing to body hair. There is a learning curve: The package containing the protectors has the sheets fan-folded. Due to incomplete cuts between sheets (or sticky edges) the sheets were often stuck together at the edges. CAREFULLY separate the sheets. DO NOT just pull the sheets apart as that can easily remove the protective sheet exposing the adhesive. Too, after separating the sheets I interleaved sheets of wax paper to keep the sheets from sticking together. After finishing the monitoring period I have 5 sheets remaining. They are stored in a zippered plastic large bag in a cool dry closet. I was very satisfied with this product and found that I was also able to cover a bandaged (keep dry) wound on my wrist while showering. If needed I will purchase these again. During the monitoring use I needed to reorder these shower protectors. Both orders were bought through Prime Amazon and in my case delivered the next day. Good luck my friends.
