I'm very happy with the visual appeal, sturdiness, and height of the product. The only thing is I wish it were wider (which was my error for not double checking how wide it would really be). This is only because it's generally dark when I get in/out of bed and then wind up missing it completely or sliding off of it when getting out of it.Again I love the look (so it doesn't look like a big ugly block in my bedroom) but if using if using it specifically for a foot stool like I do (I'm only 5'3 and I have MS which means I'm unsteady a lot) the surface is so smooth and slippery you can easily slide right off or wind up stepping on the edge and flipping it and falling. I need to find some type of rubber traction to put on the top so I don't keep falling.Overall the sturdiness alone is very helpful. Happy with the product.

We have a bed set very high which is nice for the tall spouse, but the shorty gets a workout trying to get onto the bed! Hilarious for awhile, but frustrating now. Problem solved with this regal looking, discreet step that fits neatly under the bed. It is as nicely made as the bed itself. This is a class act little stool that serves an honorable role in my house!

I was looking for a small step stool to help get into bed! I wanted something wood and stained a darker color! The espresso finish is beautiful and no screws used! Made to last just like the olden days! When I’m not using it it slides perfectly under my bed! The best part…it’s Made in America!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸

I purchased this foot stool to use with a bed in our guest room since the bed is a bit high. I am so very pleased with the stool. It looks great and feels sturdy to stand on. I will also add that there were some problems in shipping my original purchase, so it took more than a month for me to receive my stool. However, Matt Holland, (the owner, presumably) was super gracious and sent me an immediate replacement and then gave me a partial refund for the delay. I appreciated his immediate responses and attention to my issue as much as I appreciated the great quality of this product. I would highly recommend this step stool to others.

Sturdy, well made.I'm 5'2 it's a perfect height to help w/ getting onto a taller bed. The platform is deep enough for a woman's sz 9 shoe. Wide enough for both feet at the same time. If using on hardwood floors you will need something under it so it won't slip. It is a very dark brown. Other uses turn upside down it can be used as a doll cradle. Useful in every room. Light weight . No assembly. Grain still can be seen through the stain.

I read the measurements, but even planning it out didn't prepare me for the size of the stool. It is more child size, but not tall enough for a child. Well made and sturdy and serves its purpose of getting me easily to the bed. If you are short, however, don't buy. I am 5'4" and any shorter and it would not be good given the height of the bed. Also, my problem is that the 4 tiny bumps meant to keep it for slipping are not adequate. If using on a slippery surface, make sure to put something along the entire bottom rail of the stool. I solved the problem by using it on top of a throw rug. Without that problem, I would have given it 5 stars.

Sturdy but not long enough. Almost all these type foot stools are too narrow... about 12-14 in. After a few almost falls I gave it to my wife to use in kitchen to reach shelves. Probably works fine for a child to step up a little but NOT for a male adult. I am 6' 1' tall getting up into a tall bed so I am a little tall for a 6 in high short length stool. A child or a medium size woman could make use of it.

Ordered this step stool to help my mom get into and out of her bed easier. Something happened with the tracking of the first package and it didn’t arrive or have any tracking info to follow, so I reached out to the company and they have great customer service! They shipped out another one which arrived within a few days! Also thought I’d have to get rubber grippers for the bottom and found that they were included! Great buy. Solid stool with great craftsmanship.
