Camera stops working after awhile, camera showed me offline, checked internet and all , figured let's reset and remove device from the app let's start fresh, try to add device back not connecting, removed the solar power supply device is not coming on now.

I purchased during Black Friday and was a little concerned cause some of the reviews… the instructions pictures suck… read the instructions… yea yea I know. But seriously worked great! My wifi is 1/2 an acre away and still picks it up… the light is bright and good.Needless to say I am pleasantly surprised. I live in northern Michigan so will let you know how it handles.

As the title suggests Portocam and Soliom are the same company, which is great. Here's why it's great, if you have an existing Soliom app you can easily install the Portocam S30 to it. No need to install any other apps. Also if you have an existing Soliom camera that has been damaged or stolen but you still have available cloud storage you can transfer that too. Right off the bat, I love the color scheme of the Portocam S30! It hides better within the trees and doesn't stick out like white would on other cameras that I own. The video quality is the same as that of the Soliom S800 PTZ, 1080p no 4k quality yet. The pan, tilt, zoom feature is much improved over that of the S800 a lot smoother. The overall size seems to be a little bit more compact, easy setup and instructions are clear to understand. Does have infrared night vision, as well as a spotlight. I prefer the infrared over the spotlight, the spotlight tends to blur the image and is a dead giveaway for the camera. The camera is setup quite a distance from my house about 50 to 60 feet away from the closest wifi router, no issues at all. The audio is decent but I don't use it to communicate with anyone. This camera is basically used to monitor my driveway and the dirt road in front of the house. For the price you pay for this camera it is definitely worth it, packed with great features. The yearly cloud storage is insanely cheap and you are not locked into a contract. Oh, and did I mention you don't have to fiddle around with batteries because this bad boy is solar powered! That alone will save you money in the long run. Definitely give this camera a try, you won't regret it.

First, let me say that I have a lot of cameras, solar, battery and electric. I was looking for a solar that had zoom, so I got this. The solar panel is a little smaller than on others and mounts directly above, so limited that way. We put this up in direct sunlight. The first week it was a bit rainy, so I thought maybe that was the problem, took it in, charged it up again. Put it out again, and after a few days it was done again. Since I installed it high, I don't want a camera I have to take down once or twice a week to charge. My other solar in nearly the same location works just fine. The picture is better on this one, but that is pretty useless if it doesn't work.

Super fast shipping. Very good build quality using 2 cameras one for the front and back of my house. Crystal clear quality wanting to purchase another one for my garage. The app is very user friendly and took less than five minutes to setup!

We found this camera easy to install and takes clear video and pictures. We live in AZ and get plenty of sun. We have had some good rain recently and I was concerned how it would work and if it would stay online, and it worked like a champ. We have had it installed nearly three weeks and it hasn’t lost connection yet. We would rate this a 10/10.

This is one of the best Solar security cameras out there. They offer a really affordable cloud storage at $1.99 a month or you can pay for an entire year at a reduced amount. You have the option to avoid all the fees and use an sd card to record all the notification clips and playback on the app. Most of the other ones out there require you to remove the sd card from the camera and view it on a computer. You can avoid all of this with this camera. Way cheaper than the major cloud services and products out there. I’ve never seen the battery below 100%. I made sure to install it on an area free of shade and lots of sunlight. One of the things that I like about this camera is that I can almost rotate it 360 degrees in every angle making it easier to install practically anywhere. I have the camera around 20 feet from our router and it gets decent wifi signal to operate. You also have the option to hard wire it with a usb plug instead of the solar panel and have it inside.Over all I give it 5 stars. I highly recommend it.They have great customer service. Any questions and they usually reply within 1 day.
