I started taking mushrooms to help recover from a horrendous pathology known as (and related to) Tardive Dyskenisia.I have fought and fought and found as many ways to pick myself up as possible and mushrooms was one of the ways I fought the toxicity that major tranquilizers (also known as antipsychotics, neuroleptics and sometimes chemical hand cuffs) left me with.I switched to using this aqueaous extract after learning of its difference in healing constituents from the powdered mycelial extract. This contains significantly more beta-glucans than arabinoxylenes.I switched not because the mycelial extract wasn't doing it for me with helping with my TD, but because it wasn't heavy duty enough for my inflammation from arthritis in my neck. Upon using this extract, my neck inflammation has disappeared. This stuff is dank.Paul Stamets put some studies in his book Mycomedicinals that suggest the mycelial powder and liquid extract work even better together. I have switched to this extract though, and my inflammation continues to be at an all time low.I also take Glucosamine Sulfate, which has greatly helped me rebuild my body to a manageable state with the arthritis and TD.This is a powerful healing mushroom. I'd highly suggest it to anyone with oral-facial TD and related pathologies to try this mushroom for the pain related to their issues, like arthritis.

there is a lot of alcohol in this.I have no doubt that this is a great product and has been responsibility sourced and extracted but it is impossible to get past the PURE ALCOHOL taste. I had to order the same brand's capsules instead - and can not use the drops, unfortunately.

I've been a big fan of this brand and Paul Stamets for years and am a true believer in the medicinal value in mushrooms. Recently I've come up with an immune disorder and read that the Reishi mushroom is being used to slow or even reverse immune problems along with the turkey tail and lions mane for overall immune support and brain function. I was happy to find the extracts as they are easier to digest. I just put them in a smoothie or my water. Taste is not bad at all. I also really appreciated the care this seller took in packaging and sending it so quickly! I will definitely be ordering again soon and probably for awhile. I'm already starting to feel better.

I chose it because of the company reputation and it's not a bottle of vegetable gelatin! .First thing in the morning, last thing at night.i've taken red and black reishi extracts, usually Japanese red. Many precious compounds must be in an ethanol /water solution, not glycerine.

This is another excellent product from Host Defence. Paul Stamets never ceases to amaze me with his innovations of the millions of uses of fungi. This works great for a sore throat and also gives you great breath. I love it!
