This is perfect if you need your hands free to type, or use to hold a book in place. Quality, and you get the value of your money. It folds so you can take it with you to your job, to the beach, on a vacation. If you have arthritis or any problems holding a book, this will be perfect. You do not have it in your lap and holding it open one handed and trying to type one handed. You are free to use both hands. If you prefer typing with your book on left side, it's perfect. If you prefer your book on right side its perfect

Excellent copy stand holder for transcribing papers
You will appreciate this copy stand holder if you're upgrading from a general, simple copy stand holder that was too delicate to work with. This copy stand holder is very versatile, the side clip is easily movable up and down in order to keep your place at the line you're transcribing; and, it can be switched to the other side of the stand if you prefer. The back support base is sturdy and adjustable, and the top clip is movable. Although this item is still plastic, it is a hard durable plastic, not as breakable as the other cheap brands.
