My sons brought home a ton of fish they had caught in Alaska. This is the perfect little tool to remove the bones that were missed. The grip is excellent. You can pull quite hard without them slipping.

Great for pulling pin bones on salmon filets.

It is quite satisfactory. It will do the job.

These are quality and feel good in my hands but using it to pull pin bones out of a salmon was difficult. I’d have to dig into the meat to get a hold of the bones because the grooves are so sharp on these that they were cutting the bones I was trying to pull out.

Works great and stainless

I tried for a bout 30 mins and these will cut the bones to sharp to use and thing that retracts it is annoying I might try the clippers one

Don’t know why I thought this would be a high quality tool but it’s not. The spring doesn’t stay in place so the handles jam up. The quality of the steel seems suspect but time will tell. The jaws are ground to appear symmetrical but they’re actually not. Made in Pakistan and look it.

I've used these a few times on salmon. Good solid product.
