Many heart meds can cause digestive issues. This is good product that keeps things moving.

The fiber capsules do provide you with fiber. I don't know if this is just with me but both bottles have capsules that seem to have leaked and slightly covered the capsules so when I swallow them, I can taste the fibers. It leaves an uneasy taste in the mouth but it doesn't linger. You do have to take like 5 capsules 3x a day, which may be a lot for some people. Worth the price but maybe I had a defective batch.

I have used powder for 19 years, however the sugar-free has doubled in price. I have been able to use these, so I like the convenience, less hassel, etc much better. You need to be cautious about getting them swallowed quickly. Dr. wants a heaping tablespoon of psylium so about ten of these per day seems to result what is needed.
