I hate normal looking sunglasses so when I saw these and read the description on them I knew I had to buy them. Too bad they not silver as I am not into gold but all green ones were in Gold only. They are great on the sun and on partly sunny days. You have to protect your eyes from the sun so do it with fun. Don’t be a sheep you was the way and eat something funky.

I’m impressed! They are made well and look absolutely gorgeous! If you’re thinking of purchasing a pair, don’t hold back! Enjoy!

A story. I was looking for “yellow” mirror steampunk style glasses. Came across these. I believe they are advertised as “golden”. The color transition to the ad is dubious at best (at least on my iPhone 14Pro Max). Real color is (to my untrained eye) “yellow-gold-touch o’ green n blue”. Especially green and blue when more from the side. Straight on they are pretty much a bright “gold/yellow”. I like the color. Now. Is it a paradox or conundrum these sunglasses (Golden/Brown Frames) have a 4.5 customer rating yet still noted on the order page as “Frequently Returned Item” ?!? Hmmmmm…..I’ll go with conundrum for now and I’ll explain. Kinda. I hope. I have two other pair of this manufacturer’s glasses. Never a problem and along with this style the manufacturer has good-to-great ratings for their glasses. I’ve worn prescription glasses for 64 years. Treat these as I treat all eyewear. Long story. Still I wondered why they were noted as a “frequently returned item “. Received the glasses today. Great. Tho’ I was worried about them fitting my fat head my other two HJSTES products are great - I wear them often. And then !!!!! Took them out of the box. A nice bag and a somewhat kinda medium cleaning cloth. The mirror surface is clear and even and the frame is sturdy and intact. So, WHY, are they often returned ?!? Put them on. Then I knew. THE LENSES ARE VERY, VERY, VERY DARRRRRKKKKK !!!!!! Yep. Dark meaning anything inside in any kind of light, or outside in any kind of shade. If not in direct unobstructed sunlight the sight is so dark it is hard to distinguish between anything which is not huge and has clean definitive lines. Reading or seeing distance is impossible. *See below Great in sunlight !!!!! I wear them driving on bright clear days. Fishing / boating also. Love them. Love the look. Definitely a 5 star for me if the lenses were just a lil’ bit lighter. Oh, upon further review and thought; the answer to my question is paradox. A paradox has to do with an absurd or self-contradictory statement which seemingly is not related to itself. However, upon further review the statement can be true. A 4.5 customer rating product which has a “frequently returned item” designation. Both could be and apparently are true. TBH - never ever saw anything about how dark these were in any review. Mighta been one-or-two but I didn’t see them. Lastly, a note. Other two pair of HJSTES sunglasses I have are not nearly as dark as these even tho’ they are mirror glasses also. It’s the lenses not the mirror.

Durable as I have squished them a few times. I get compliments when I wear them.

They shipped these in a little plastic bag. If you have even the slightest idea of how Amazon shipping containers are packed and how things are handled in the mail stream, or even if you have an IQ above room temperature, you will know that shipping flimsy sunglasses (no case, just in a little baggy) in nothing but a little white plastic bag will not protect them in transit. When I opened the bag, the glasses were all mangled and bent up. Incredibly, the lenses were intact. I was able to un-mangle the glasses enough to be worn but of course, all the mangling and un-mangling isn't great for the cheap metal frames, so durability takes a hit. The glasses themselves are fine. You get what you pay for. They're ok. Just be aware that when they arrive, they may or may not be intact.

Great quality for the price. Perfect accessory for Halloween's Emerald City dweller costume.
