Oregon 20-108 Platinum Gatorline Supertwist Trimmer Line .155-Inch by 100-Foot, Grey/Black

Just started using this stuff and it works well! I had some heavier string that would break off when it caught things. This stuff simply wears down like normal. Nice!

This heavy line will cut through most all weeds and anything else that gets in it’s path, if your trimmer can handle it. Caution, it will pick up and throw things (mulch) etc.Wears well but still breaks like any other.

I maintain a small commercial scale vineyard and go through a lot of string combatting the weeds an a mile of vine rows. So I buy a different brand every time trying to find the perfect one. There is no perfect line.This stuff is better than most. I have keep it hydrated and flexible by storing it in a plastic bag with a wet sponge. The RH here is rarely over 10% and I do that with all my lineReasonably durable and doesnt get jammed up on the spool as long as you keep it hydratedMy current favorites are the Husqvarna Titanium professional and Echo Black Diamond, but I would buy this without hesitation if I couldn’t find either of those

Excellent whip wire! I have thick (persistent) weeds that don't split easily. This replacement wire takes them down! Highly recommend! Great value for the money! Don't buy those premade replacement cartridges. You're just paying the the cartridge housing you don't need. It was very easy to install this on my whip.

The best by far

Great bulk package of trimmer line. I use it on my field trimmer and it cuts grass, weeds and even small saplings. I trim close to a half-acre and usually only have to put on new line once or twice. Good bang for the buck.

Nice looking cord and one of the larger ones I've found. The twists are smooth, not as sharp as I'd like so it doesn't cut as clean as some with sharp edges. I understand if bumping hard surfaces like a rock or a fence that the ends may wear quicker, but this is apparently too brittle and actually "broke" and threw pieces of the cord flying. Trimmer cord simply shouldn't shatter. Returning.

This trimmer line from Oregon is a good , well made strong line that does a good job going from yard grass to heavier bladed wet land type grass and tall grasses. I maintain a large property and use a trimmer that holds 2 cutting strands at a time and Ican get a good distance of area covered before I have to put in 2 new strands. Not sure if the .155 would work in a bump head due to its thickness. But I would recommend this to someone with heavy work on their property or for a landscape crew.
