🩹 Be Prepared, Stay Safe!
The North American Rescue Wound Packing Gauze is a sterile, Z-folded bandage designed for effective bleeding control and wound management. Measuring 3 inches by 5 yards, it features an X-ray detectable line and is packaged in a compact, durable format, making it an essential addition to any first aid kit.

Best gauze by NAR
Easier to use than NAR compressed gauze. For civilians its great alternative to expensive hemostasis gauze.

Bleed throughs don't need more gauze, they need their wound packed.
Wound packing is an underserved art. We are taught to keep piling on gauze for bleed throughs, a bleed through on an extremity indicates that you have not controlled the bleeding. Packing gauze, you push down to the bottom of the wound and fill the void, then place a pressure dressing over that.

I only purchase NAR
*I am NOT a professional*Fortunately, I have not had reason to break into my supply of NAR consumables and I hope that that continues. The only time I do use their products is when I am able to afford and attend civilian emergency medical training courses. I have been to three over the last five years (again I am not an expert /journeyman on anything medical related) and each time, those groups have elected to use NAR as the materials to train with.So my review is this: I trust these materials because my instructors trust these materials. My instructors have been former USCG rescue swimmers, USAF pararesucemen, USA 18D’s and Navy corpsman (FMF or “green side” docs). The packaging is sterile, easy to access and there are even instructions on the packaging for folks like me who may go blank when the adrenaline is pumping from having to do the real thing.I’m only here to encourage those looking for good kit to read the professional reviews here so that they can make the best decision for themselves. Even better(!) rather than trust reviews online, go google different training available in your area so you can get recommendations from instructors like I did.Best of luck and be safe!

Purchased for my EDC IFAK
I EDC an IFAK in a cargo pocket of my pants. This ETD is part of my IFAK along with chest seals, Z-Fold Combat Gauze, compressed gauze, nasal tube, duct tape & an Israeli H bandage. It all packs small & light into a heavy 8mm ZipLoc bag. I tried vac sealing the kit but that made it like a brick, better un-vac sealed so it conforms to my leg. A tourniquet is attached to my belt attached with Ranger Bands. Might sound like a lot but it's all well hidden even when wearing a summer t-shirt.

Top US-Made Quality
I carry a few of these in each of our First Aid kits we carry in our vehicles. They are vacuum packed & compact. Can be used for many different 1st aid applications. Highly recommended.
