Love this product. I originally bought it to help me start my periods after going off deprovera (brought it back much quickly than in the past after about 45 days of use) and to control my hormonal imbalance after going off this harsh method of birth control. I kept taking it even after my cycles restarted finding it kept me more regular, reduced cramps, and reduced other pms symptoms like mood swings. Also gives a boost of energy throughout the day that is always welcome. I tried a couple of other brands, but this is definitely the best with its gentle vegan formula! Has no aftertaste and is gentle on my stomach unlike other brands.

Initial review: Haven’t noticed any difference. Didn’t have issues, bought got improved emotional and hormonal balance. Update on 03/16/25: I started noticing difference in my focus the days I take it. Maybe it needed more time to start working.

No period in 3 months, was getting concerned. Took the recommended 2 pills/day and mine came within 2 days! I will say that the taste is not the best, it’s pretty strong and seems to stick around. Eat something flavorful right after taking it to help get the taste out. I’ve had these for a while and only had to use them this time so I’m pretty happy with how many came in the bottle! It’s a good value for how I'm using them.

P. - Ordered this to help balance out post-birth control symptoms (acne returning, waiting for menstruation, etc). I stopped using birth control for a week and my hormonal acne returned. This product arrived shortly after. I took two pills daily before bed. In about three days, my inflammations/acne spots decreased significantly and I started my cycle. The only down side is that the Dong Quai seemed to be cleaning my system as well, so expect a few frequent bowel movements the first week?

I tried this product because I heard it could help induce periods early. I am 30 years old and I started taking about a week before my period was due to start. Too bad- it did absolutely nothing for me to help induce my period and I even took an extra dose on the last days. Still came on day 28 as normal. It didn’t really have any negative sides effects so giving 3 stars, and I did feel good the first days of taking it. I suppose it could work for some people who are more sensitive but not for me. Or maybe you can’t fix what’s not broken!

First off, I am not the type of person to write reviews. But I have to!! I have PCOS and took this to start my period again since I have not had my period for 9 months!! I was prescribed Provera from my doctor to start my period, but after reading the reviews I was terrified as I have had depression and severe anxiety after getting off birth control, which caused my period to go away in the first place! I decided to take 2 Dong quai capsules and 1 black cohosh capsule a day instead of the normal recommended amount, along with healthy eating (no processed foods) and incorporating exercise into my weekly schedule. In less than TWO WEEKS I got my period back!!! I am so happy!!! I believe the two in combination works better than just one alone! I am so happy I went the natural way vs taking Provera! To all my PCOS girls, give this a try!!!
