Worked great. Used for JK BMS to Home assistant communication. Easy Install.

Helped us connect to our lighting controllers.
We need these to connect programmers to our Pheonix lighting controllers. They work incredibly well for that purpose.

POLARITY WARNING A/B are not standard RS485
the product works fine. I added my device to the rs485 bus and without installing drivers, was able to read data from /dev/ttyUSB0 All is good, but look at the product specs.. it does not follow the RS485 convention of A- and B+ The labels are only A and B but in this case + is connected to A. I saw this in another review before I connected this to my 485 bus, but I'm adding this review to make sure it gets seen by others too.

I got this to add digital control for speed on a HuanYang VFD controller and Mach 3, it was easy peasy! Works well without a hiccup!

EIA/TIA RS-485 standard still not adhered to
OK, we know that the A+ and B- labeling on the prior revision of this product was incorrect and that the A and B should have been swapped to match the electrical designation standard from EIA/TIA RX-485. Did the manufacturer remove the A and B and just leave the correct + and - ? NO. They doubled down on st up id and removed the standard polarity designations and kept the wrong A and B labelling on the wrong pins! Darwin award winner!!!

A/B Labels Don't Follow Standard Convention
Underwhelmed with backwards terminal labels. Convention is that A is (-). Not on this device. Also changing port address seemed to require unplugging/re-plugging in converter. This could be a Windows issue but I'm not convinced. I'm usually a 5-star reviewer. This is functional but "meh".
