Quixo is a best-selling abstract strategy game designed for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up. With a playtime of just 15 minutes, it combines simple rules with engaging gameplay, making it perfect for both family fun and adult gatherings. The game features beautiful wooden pieces that enhance your decor, while its versatile gameplay options allow for both competitive and cooperative play.
I notice all the O's and X's have a dot (diamond?) on one side. Does that come into the gameplay at all (even in alternate rules)?

Big Tall Gal Review TOO FUN
This game is completely learnable, huggable and loveable, much like Shoe Shine Boy! (Underdog) Ok, on to the meat of it.1. This game is a great gift for those secret pal or Santa parties.2. The pieces are big, smooth and chunky so any size or age hands can control or move the pieces.3. So easy to learn and play .4. Requires no batteries, no assembly and can be played right out of the box!My son and I love to play board games and this is a great source of unplugged entertainment. We played several rounds and made up some rules of our own that allowed us opportunities to steal an opponent's playing piece.Seriously this game does not disappoint, children as well as adults will have a good time.Give it a shot! #boardgames #tictactoe #kdramakimi

another subtly deep strategy game from Gigamic
I'm a big fan of Fundex Games Quoridor Classic, which I found to be fun and of great build quality. I was looking for another Gigamic game, and settled on Quixo. It is very different from Quoridor, but just as much fun to play multiple times and develop a strategy. Like Quoridor, the quality of the craftsmanship that goes into the wooden pieces is amazing. Also like Quoridor (sorry to keep comparing them!), Quixo is almost a totally different game when played with more than 2 players. This helps keep it interesting, and this is one of the reasons both games have such longevity with us.Well worth the purchase and highly recommended!

good quality but the game can get stale
it starts off easy. we are fans of Quarto! and Pentago. Both of those games have more complex rules. This is a good change from those games, and gives a different challenge, so good to have this one too, but the other games (if you have to pick) are much more engaging. The basic concern was that the game play would be similar to what can happen in Othello (once you realize just put pieces along sides and that's it). It does have a "stalemate" feel to it when both parties don't want to move pieces to a less advantageous position: back and forth a bit... But well constructed board & pieces.

Great for gifted class
This game is an effective tool to teach reasoning. The 4th-5th grade kids love playing it and I love challenging them to think ahead and to utilize the characteristics of the pieces to strategize. Well made old-school fun

Very reliable shop with genuine products. Will definitely buy again!
Quixo is a simple game whose rules can be learned in just thirty seconds. Line up 5 cubes in a row, pushing your lines of cubes horizontally or vertically. This is one of the few strategic games that can be played by 2 or 4 players in teams. It includes 25 wood playing pieces, wood game board, fabric bag and instructions.
