This stuff worked great. I think I know why some people say it can barely be seen. I mixed this 1 part into a total of 12 parts black Spectrloc epoxy grout then did two different grout line widths. The first was 3/8" and for that, it was WAY too much glitter. The other grout lines were 1/8" and for those, the glitter can barely be seen. So I think the issue is the width of the grout line in relation to the size of the glitter. When the grout line is thin, I think the flakes may not be oriented flat in relation to the tile so you can only see the glitter on an angle. But when the grout line is wide enough, the glitter lays flat, especially as you apply pressure to squeeze in the grout, so you can see it from any angle. At the proportions I mixed it, there is no way that this product would compromise the integrity of the grout. Spectraloc is supposed to be mixed 1 part A 1 part B then up to 6 parts of the color. I just took away one part of the color and put in 1/2 part of glitter. If you mix the color with the glitter first, you will get an idea of how sparkly it will be at 1/8" grout line size. The sparkle will increase the more you work it flat into the joint.

I used a LOT less than recommended on the package: 1 package of glitter per 10 lbs of grout for my kitchen. The result is just a little hint of sparkle, which really brightens the reddish tile and the whole kitchen. Going to use it in the laundry room next to the kitchen now too, and I might use a silver one in the bathroom.

Read all reviews so went heavy on the recipe. B.T.W., wish they would provide the non metric recipe for Americans. 1 figured one bag of glitter to 2 pounds of dry grout. Wish I would have doubled that amount. I had white subway tiles with black grout. was worried the black glitter would be to subtle so I added 2 heaping tablespoons of silver grout to each recipe. It is all still very subtle. Think I should have used mostly silver with the black. You really cant see it unless you are standing in the shower. 80$ kind of down the drain......sigh

Amazing stuff. Didn’t have to use much to get a glitter effect in my grout. Shows up amazingly. I used charcoal colored grout and it looks great. I thout it wasn’t going to be worth the money but I still have half of it left over and truly beautiful.

When you add the glitter to the grout, the grout coats each flake of glitter and therefore once dried you do not get that shiny glitter effect. I tried multiple tests and no matter how much glitter i put in, it just does not have that glimmering effect i was looking to get. And also the more glitter you add the weaker your grout will be! Total waste of time. Save your money. Also turns your white grout to a off white grout without and glittery effect! I was really excited for this to work and well... It doesnt!

I'm obsessed! I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I used 3 bags of the silver holographic glitter in one bag of grey grout and it is absolutely gorgeous!! Perfect amount of sparkle, catches your eye without being overwhelming. I can't wait to soak in my tub by candlelight and admire the sparkle! I would recommend to everyone!!

You need lots and lots of it for it to even show a little bit. We used two bags in the recommended amount, and you can't even see it.

I really wish that I had purchased 2 bags. Added the whole bag to about 2/3 bag of grout slowly to see what the look would be and its more subtle than I'd like but still a bit of private pretty. Will definitely do this again and its easier and faster than getting the very expensive glitter grout in your possession. I looked at the swatches of stainmaster glitter grout a Lowes. Chose the base color without the grout based on what I liked in the samples with the grout then just added this . Worked well but once again I would have liked it more glittery
