I bought these tag holders based on the ratings here on Amazon. I received my first ever handicap tags only a week ago and was worried about how long they were going to last because they are so flimsy. My hang tag to park at work were a lot more sturdy and they only lasted 2 years before they broke. The ones issues by my town are lucky to last 1 year. I had some laminating sheets I was going to use but decided to see what I could find online first. Glad I did because MirorTag Gold seems just what the doctor ordered. Yes they are slightly more expensive than some other products but this is obviously a quality product and should stand the test of time while cheaper ones may need to be replaced. I made sure that my NY tags fit (and they do) and ordered them. Delivery was three days and putting them in the car is a no brainer. Both my cars have nice side pockets in the driver's door so thats where I will store the tags when not in use but the package does include extra adhesive backed magnets that can be attached elsewhere in the car to store the tag.Update: June 2016. Still working as well as the day we bought them. The mirror tag has not chipped, cracked or turned yellow. The hook part that goes behind the rear view mirror is still perfect and the magnets strong as ever. We have never removed the hang tags from the mirror tag gold so they are still pristine. These tag holders should last a lifetime. Update: December 2019. Yep, still working fine. I am now on my second set of State Issued hang tags but still using these holders that I originally purchased. I think they will outlast me!!!

I love the Miror Tag.After researching for something that would protect my handicap tag and prevent it from bending in the heat, I decided to purchase the Mirror Tag. I found that this tag protector had the thickest protection of all the ones I found online. I was excited to receive this. But when I tried to put my Texas handicap placard in the plastic sleeve, it was a 1/2 inch too short. So I now have to use it with the placard sticking out on the side. Just thought I would worn others in Texas before they spent their money. Otherwise, the plastic is very heavy duty and durable. The hook fits perfectly on my rear view mirror and makes it very easy to attach and remove.

I have been using the disability placard holders with the hook built in for many years. I recently parked my car in handicapped for 8 days, and my holder melted and twisted and fell off my mirror. I found it on the floor. That is what made me look at another system.I have to say the heavy duty holder seems so much stronger than my old one, and the magnetic hanger system is terrific so far! No more struggling to hang it on my mirror every time I park. (I have arthritis in my hands). Magnet just grabs on and holds it, and I just pull down to release it and put it away in my door pocket. So far this system is great! I bought two (one for each car). Would recommend to anyone.

I like the product but unfortunately I got a defective one and it fell apart right away but they owners of the company gave me a new one and told me that they had a back where the plastic was coming off and apologized so I wanted to let everyone know that the product was good and that the seller indeed help me and took care of the issue

Have wanted one for eons. I use it in my car for my handicapped placard parking sign. I used to have to play tug of war to get the darn over my car mirror now all I have to do is snap the magnet on the front of the placard to the magnet on the back of the hanger which is over the mirror - and like magic it's done. You don't even have to search for the magnets, they just find each other and snap together. Imagine that!
