Found it at five below for five dollars (paperback) so I was really sad I spent $15 on it however it is an AMAZINGGG book. The way it’s written is very engaging and very natural to read. It contains a lot of information and it is very organized. I am 16 and I bought this book because I wanted to understand politics. I find it very important to understand our government and politics. This book, although I’m not completely finished, is helping me with that. I got really tired of watching YouTube videos on government because I felt like I was never going to learn it completely because I just don’t know how much there is to learn (which makes it impossible to find videos because I can’t specify what I want to know). I love that I got this book because it is an organized way of learning. I recommend this book because it’s definitely useful information that is worth knowing if you live in America. and, in any country, it is very important to know how your government works. I 100% recommend this book. Not only is it a great book but is also budget friendly (if you get the paperback version somewhere else). But still, $15 for this book was defiantly worth it.

This was book provided a good overview of the political system. However, I would suggest a review of pronouns. The president is quite often referred to as “he”. The president is not required to be male and my daughter is actually the one who noticed this and questioned it.

It came on time which is always a plus. It's just what it claims to be - an easy to understand look at our American Govt. from the very beginning. I think I forgot more than I knew. LOL

It's a great source for people who don't have of time but need to review. I didn't notice any bias, and it is more about the basic function.

Book is pretty good but written in reverse. Gives ya a very zoomed in close up look first without setting the stage. I would start in the middle aka the second half, around page 127, then after that go back to page 1 and read how it all happened.

Was surprised how little (size wise) book is...print is small, like the book but the information is easy to understand which is why I purchased
