This is a fantastic product for treating natural wood

We have a lot of wood surfaces in our kitchen - the shelf on our island, the serving table that is part of the island, and a large eight-person dining table. We have used this product for 12 years, and tried another variety only to return to Boos. It is unquestionably the best wood treatment for your kitchen! Even cutting boards :)

I ordered the large size as I was oiling a new butcher block counter -- it preformed as I expected.

Cleans my boards and butcher block island nicely. Goes on easily, no bad smell. My only gripe is when pouring from the container it drips down the front as the lid isn't close enough to the edge of the bottle. But the product itself cleans my boards nicely.

Good Product, Nice to have a larger container vs the small ones you can pick up locally. Product works goods and leaves a nice finish on boards.

This stuff is AWESOME! I have butcher block kitchen countertops. Depending on use, temps (dry/humid) determines when I oil them. Was using another brand and it just wasn't doing what we needed and had already purchased 2-3 bottles of that. Did a little research and found Boo's. Since applying Boo's, my counters darkened a bit but look fabulous. Any water or spills either beads or just doesn't penetrate. I pour some out and spread it around with a squeegee, let it set overnight and wipe up any excess in the morning. It takes a little time and effort, but anything worth keeping nice/preserving always does. Love, love, love this stuff!

Monthly application to oil-finished cherry counters. Use a lot of this stuff. The oil absorbs well, and buffs down beautifully after a night's soaking in. There is no oily residue to pick up on hands/items placed on counter top. Water beads up like a freshly waxed car. Spills are cleanable with soap and water if necessary, with only a spot reapplication of the oil. After 18 months of daily use, no stains have resulted from absorption of spills. Rich color of the cherry is enriched, and maintained. Clearly, this counter top system is maintenance intensive... but the Boos Oil makes it possible, and worth it in this 210 year old antique home.
