The best way to use this is to know about how much you will need & cut the length before you wrap. When you try to wrap while still on the roll it sometimes twists. You have to pull to stretch as you circle it around your hose or pipe. If you get the leak covered this tape works great. Not sure how long it will last but so far it is working great & lots easier than having to put in a new pipe!

I have used this type of tape before it works really well pull out the amount t you need make one wrap as tight as you can and wrap the wire or what ever you are working on after a few days it seals to its self its pretty water proof if you wrap the repair well I would buy it again

I like the idea that it only sticks to itself. Stretching it out around pipe Fittings makes a nice seal

I've tried to tape up a very small hole in a watering wand a couple of times. It seems to work, but with in a min. it'll start making a water bubble and burst shortly after that. I've tried wrapping several layers back and forth over the area and it'll form the bubble then burst again. This might be good on taping up wires, it does seem to stick.
