My daughter insists on going as Hermione for Halloween this year and this is a perfect wand for her. It's sturdy and will survive the rough play of a 9 year old. Big fan!

I bought this for Hallowe'en as I was going as Voldemort. This, combined with the hooded robe and makeup was great! I gave the wand to my daughter in law after as she is a HUGE Harry Potter fan so it served two purposes.

I am a 90s baby and an adult. although this one isn’t for me it is great as a gift for those who are new to the HP series or who do not hold a HP product yet. This is not for you if you’re an adult and wanting a wand to rewatch the series with for immersion. just to put into perspective I gave this to my niece who is in fifth grade, her eyes lit up when she received the gift, just like minded when I watch Harry Potter. to me, the money was worth it for that look alone. I know she’ll enjoy it but in a year’s time, I will have to upgrade to a more suitable wand. If you are looking for a wand for your adult self, I recommend 3-D printing it, or grabbing one from individuals who are 3-D printing versus mass commercially made.
