I had a canvas duffel and after 10 long years it ripped where the handles attached to the bag. I bought a different bag that was not canvas and it looks like it could rip if I looked at it wrong. But this... this bag is amazing! The canvas is like twice as thick as my original bag AND it has so many pockets! I travel for work twice a month for 4-6 days at a time and I cab fit all of my clothes and gym shoes. It has front pockets to keep my keys, ID and phone, and a strap to secure the bag on a roller suitcase. I would recommend 10/10.

This bag just FEELS like quality, and demonstrates it from the first use. The material and workmanship are on a level that will allow this bag to last for a long time. The expansion option is genius, and makes the bag even more utilitarian. The style never goes away, and it's easy to carry, not too big and not too small. The bag does not have a large amount of pockets, but I think enough to use it in the way that fits inline with your intentions. And the price is absurdly low for this quality, durability and looks.

Bought as a Christmas gift but decided to keep for myself. This is a perfect size travel bag. I love the strap (along the back) that secures it to top of rolling luggage. This was great for a weekend trip for two. Used two side pockets for toiletries; front & back pockets for small items like chargers; and large main compartment for jeans, shirts, jackets, book, etc. Expandable, but didn't need to use this feature.

Used for camping on its maiden voyage. It was excellent for easy access to all the pockets and keeping dirty camp shoes separate from clean clothes. I fit clothes for about 6 days, a pair of sandals and a pair of tennis shoes when the duffel was unexpanded. I could have even fit more without expanding it. Love that it expands easily if needed. Both handles for carrying are great, easily carried.
