I bought this to upgrade a 75 kawasaki g3 which has 1 wire opposite the spark plug wire. what are the 2 posts on this unit? black and green? help?

The black wire is for the positive or the hot side and the green wire is for ground if you only have one wire that goes to the coil itself and that is black then what you do is run a wire from the green to some ground on the bike. You can put it underneath a screw you can run it into other ground wires you can run it directly to the battery. Hope this helps
