AOSK for Tesla Model Y Rear Spoiler Wings ABS for 2020-2024 Tesla Model Y Trunk Lip Tail Wing Rear Trunk Lid (V2 Duckbill Spoiler, Glossy Black)

Looks like factory OEM spoiler, right? Took <10 min to install: wipe surface clean w/ isopropyl alcohol, mark center w/ blue tape, heat gun trunk surface and spoiler sticky tape, then stick-on spoiler and lean fwd into it w/ both hands spread wide apart (apply pressure to promote adhesion) for 1-2 mind, ez peazy! Makes my cookie-cutter Model Y a lil different frm all the others..

I applied all the measures that people here talked here, at 3PM temperature was at 78F, cleaned the car surface with alcohol wipe, applied provided adhesive promoter and waited about a minute, pressed one end to the marked and pulled and pressed the rest of the spoil. Pressed it really hard from one end to the other and put on tapes to keep it in place. Continue to press for at least 10 mins one half and then another 10 for the other. Take turn for about 2 hours. Do the pressing for 3 days, without moving the car out of my garage. First notice, the left end doesn't bend enough to cover the curve of the trunk gate. Fixing: put pressure longer on that end. Secondly, the tape is so small and there was only 1 tape running crossing from 1 end to the other, not in a straight line as if trying to hold the whole spoiler. This cost cutting results in the loosening the whole spoiler when the glue tape gave up after the 5th day after putting on, or 2nd day of driving - remember I didn't drive it at all in 3 days after putting it on. Third, the glue tape and the adhesive promoter wipes are definitely not 3M at all. Now I bought 3M 2 sided tape to fix the left end and put it back, that fixed the left end. Then, the center part, almost the whole thing except about 4-5 inches at each end, falling off. What a nightmare as I don't want to damage the paint of the new car while taking this stupid thing off. The gap of the center is about 1/16 inch, I cannot slide the 2 sided 3M glue tape in to fix it. Really pissed off. Of course, I cannot return this because they stated that we can only return it if the tape is not peeled off. update: it's hot yesterday in San Jose, CA, mid 70s and after 2PM the whole thing decided to separate from my model Y, except the corner that had the 3M tape I replaced couple days earlier. With a hairdresser's assistance, I took it off completely. It's available for free, with a prepaid shipping box, if you want, it will come to your place.

This product is excellent for the price. I really enjoy it. My only gripe is that the right extreme end is not as snug to the truck as it should be, despite me pushing it down and holding it like 3 days in a row. It’s still a great fit.

It's super easy to install. However I did add extra 3M Auto 2 sided tape to ensure it doesn't go anywhere. It looks amazing and it beats paying 800$ for the name brand model.

Followed instruction to the dot. Pre surface by compounding it, then clean, then apply adhesive promoter. Much more thorough than the instruction video. Despite of all these prep works, the spoiler detach from the car during a hand wash. The another issue is that the spoiler doesn't flus with the top top of the trunk, this creates a gap to trap all the dust.

I bought this to go on my 2023 Model Y. Fit perfect…better than the OE one did on my old Model 3. It is a little thinner than the OE spoiler but if you don’t compare them side by side no one will notice. Came with the adhesion promotion pads and was boxed “ok”. My log term concern is around the adhesion tape used on the spoiler. It does not appear to be the 3M tape i was expecting but rather some kind of clear double sided tape. It stuck well and has not moved in the week or so it’s been on so it might end up being ok. Time will tell and I will update this review if it starts to come off.

I received this product and really satisfied with this product at that time. Good looking, Easy installation. But after 3 weeks, I was so embarrassed and disappointed. Because this product just got disappeared even I was driving local way. My place is California and never have a change of rain. How this can happen…?? I really want some feedback and response with this situation. ——————- Never got reply. WORST customer service ever!!!!

Highly recommend! This is the best fitting spoiler and looks great! I think had ordered a few prior to this one, but none of them fit the curve of the back of the car very well. This one fits perfectly and looks great on top of it! Very impressed with the quality and will be sure to watch out for other items sold by AOSK.
