For our products made in the United States, our chicken and turkey are sourced from the United States and Canada, our Trout (which is farm-raised per recommendation of the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch Program, as many wild trout populations are endangered) is sourced from the United States, and our wild-caught fish (which includes salmon and herring) are sourced from various regions depending on the migratory path of the wild population throughout the year.

What is tuna extract? Does it have more/less/same amount of mercury as tuna meat?

Tuna extract is simply the pressed liquid from cooked tuna fish! This is a natural flavor ingredient. With regards to mercury, all of our incoming ingredients are tested for quality and safety, which includes heavy metal testing for our fish ingredients. Ingredients must meet our strict specifications before being used in our products.
