Easy, reliable product
Don’t waste money on cheap tire inflators. This Makita inflator works great and provides confidence that is essential when on the road. I used this to inflate six RV tires from ~50psi to 80psi. Used up one 18V, 5Amp rechargeable battery. Excellent product…highly recommended.

Love this tire inflator
This inflator sure makes it easy to top up tires. No cords to find, untangle, and plug into outlets (that must be in the vicinity of the car). I like the screw on connector because it makes an affirmative connection, though takes ever so slightly more time to do so. I like the built in air release together with the digital pressure gauge, which together make setting precise pressures fast and easy. I like the clips for storing the hose quickly so it doesn't flop around. It feels robust and well made. There are multiple complaints on the Internet that there is no trigger lock, and I thought this might bug me, but in practice this inflator is fast enough that i don't find myself wishing for a trigger lock (and it would be easy enough to make one, e.g. from a velcro strap). It uses the same batteries as my other Makita tools so i saved money (and space) by getting just the bare tool. It's a bit noisy but not excessively so-quieter than the plug-in inflator it is replacing.

Air Pump for Light Use
I use this air pump for tire inflation to adjust pressure a few psi. It works fine. I use 18V 5A battery.

Excellent portable battery-powered inflator
I was expecting it to take a fair amount of time to inflate a minivan tire but because this appeared to be a much more portable handy tool than other options out there, I thought I will take it and since it is Makita I was hoping I would get some use out of it with regards to trouble-free life.I got the tool three days ago and used it for the first time to inflate the tires on a minivan and I was pleasantly surprised to see it only took a few seconds (between 3-5) to inflate the tires to an addition 5 psi from where they were. I have not checked for the accuracy of its readings just yet but I am very happy with its performance. Then, I also tested it on two basket balls that were out of air to the point that you could bend them. Once again attached the nozzle to the basket ball and within 7 seconds they were at 9 Psi which was too much so I reduced it down to 7. Point being that it performs better than my expectations. I hope it will last a long time without troubles.

Power Enough, portable enough, Nozzle is not enough.
I chose this one for the power it had and the portability, the nozzle was disappointing and I did go with another one with a lock and release feature (which I highly recommend.)It does car and truck tires well.Used it on multiple tires on a sedan with no problem.Used it on one tire for a lifted truck with noProblem. The Guage doesn't feel very accurate, even when you set it to a certain psi it either overshoots or undershoots depending on what it feels like at the moment. It is a bit noisy. Can wake up the neighbours if they live within fifty feet of you.Battery life is great if you get a juicy 5.0xcs and above.

Handy tool to have!
My son is pretty particular with his tools and really liked this and was impressed with its performance! Handy to have to fill camper tire, trailer tire, and many others! Small, light weigh, easy to use, and good pressure!
